I had heard of the Dettol products before this trial. I have used Dettol products before.

Kitchen spray. I really liked the kitchen spray, I liked the bottle, it felt very sturdy, I liked the way it sprayed. But more importantly I liked the way it cleaned. It took the dirt of with one wipe and there was a lovely smell from it. It removed dirt and grease without a problem. I felt like it left my kitchen lovely and clean, there was no excess water to be drying off, the smell was nice and fresh.

Kitchen wipes I also realy liked the wipes. Easy to get out of the packet, very convenient especially when having kids in the house. I felt they most certainly cleaned surfaces effectively. I didnt prefer using more than the spray.

If I was to chose which product I prefered for the kitchen it would be the spray, when cleaning the surfaces in the kitchen I found it faster to just spray all around and then quick wipe. I cant say that either product was better in getting the job done but found the speed of the spray more appealing for teh kitchen.

Bathroom Spray Really liked the bathroom spray. The spray was again nice and sturdy, gave an even spray, left the bathroom smelling nice and I felt it did a great job when cleaning the whole bathroom. It made cleaning the bathroom nice and easy.

Bathroom wipes Really liked the wipes also. They cleaned surfaces really well, I did prefer using them to the bathroom sprays as normally the bathroom would just need a quick clean, if I saw the sink in the bathroom was a bit grubby looking the wipes had it sorted in a minute. Whereas with the spray I would have to go and get a cloth etc.

I prefered the wipes for the bathroom as explained above.

I loved tht this product cleaned really well and left no residue, all surfaces were sparkling after using, smell was lovely.

I have always loved the Dettol brand, I think with using Dettol I really kill any germs that are breeding in the house. Its the brand I would always prefer when really cleaning the house.

I would buy the bathroom wipes, I found them very strong, easy to take out, nice smell, and felt they really cleaned the surfaces.

I was very familiar with the Dettol brand before this trail but have always associated Dettol with "disinfecting" rather than cleaning. As a mother of a toddler and a new baby, having a clean house is very important to me but not easy to achieve! I was delighted to see a product that claims you can abandon the rubber gloves. I must say I would still don the gloves when doing a big clean but when I am just giving counters or sink a quick wipe its great to feel that I can do so without getting harsh chemicals on my hands.

I would always use 2 or more products in the kitchen between counters, hob and baby chairs. However I used the Dettol spray for all areas in the kitchen and was very statifed with it's cleaning power, shifting stains without scrubbing and leaving a clean surface. I was also confident that everything was germ free. The kitchen spray left a lovely clean fresh smell also, which I find important- when I clean, I like there to be evidence!!
I am not a big fan of wipes in general but tried these out for quick clean ups . I found them strong and again was confident of their cleaning ability. I would keep them in my nappy bag for cleaning on the go when out and about with baby, cleaning high chairs etc

The bathroom spray also cleaned very well and removed soap scum without too much effort. I felt confident the bathroom was clean and hygienic after cleaning with the spray. Again the wipes I only used for a quick spruce up. Strong and did the job but given the ease of using the spray without needing gloves, I'd rather just spray and wipe with a cloth then use the wipes again. however I found the bathroom spray not to leave as nice a smell as the kitchen one. It did have a nice smell when using it but it didn't last long after cleaning.

I would definitely buy both sprays again but I'm not keen on wipes and these did nothing to change my mind! Thank you for letting me take part in the trial, I enjoyed giving a bit of thought to my cleaning process!

I was really delighted wit these dettol products firstly the size of the bottles are so decent i started with the kitchen multi purpose spray fantastic for lots of reasons the smell was nice not harch an it lifted any foods stuck to my counter top i even tried the top of my oven an it worked great the kitchen felt so clean after an every thing smells of clean ...



next product was the detol power bathroom spray i found this spray great also removed any scum an bathroom smelt so clean after wards i had a pure sense of a germ free bathroom after which i dont get wit other sprays over all i cant say enough about thesr sprays i know in future ill be buying these sprays an not the cheaper ones i had tried you PAY FOR THE QUALITY which these prouducts have

next i used the kitchen wipes these are top class cause durin week out workin every day i only do my big clean once a week but wit these kitchen wipes they so fast but you get dat same sense of pure cleanliness in a flash wit kids you cud be cleanin for ever but one wipe an you feel the place is clean

next i used the pure power bathroom wipes i also found these to be great the very same as the kitchen wipes great to give a quick clean durin the week these also seemed top class like the kitchen ones over all i was thrilled to take part in the trial an very happy over all with these prouducts will definately be switching from the cheaper brands i feel you i would gladly pay for the quality you are getting with these dettol products thanks for lettin me be part of the trial i hope i have explained it to best of my ability i would say 10/10 over all for the products thanks dettol an thanks mummy pages too for pickin me for the trial :-)

It was great having the detto kitchen spray as it was easy to wipe surfaces and the wipes ideal for wiping the kitchen bin and small spills. The wipes are handy for wiping the oven and grill area because you can throw them away. The bathroom got a good clean from the spray and wipes used for the toilet area. Even the painted doors got a clean. It is amazing how when using and you see how fresh and clean that it is done without much effort. I'm perfectly happy to recommentd the Dettol Power and Pure spray and wipe to family and friends

Yes, I knew the dettol brand before this trial, I have used Dettol products before adn it would have been something that my mother would have always had in our house when we were kids!!

I found good and bad points with the Dettol "Power and Pure" Kitchen Spray - I found it worked very well on stubborn stains and there was little or no scrubbing required! I liked the smell of this product although it was a bit overpowering at first! This product cleaned my hob very well, but I have black granite worktops and a black glass kitchen table and I found that it left very strong streak marks on both surfaces!!!



I also found good and bad points with the "Power and Pure" Kitchen wipes - I found them to be too moist, so again they weren't suitable for my worktops or kitchen table unless I cleaned them with kitchen roll afterwards. I also found the wipes to be just slightly too small and too thin , so I had to use 2 or more at a time. I did find these great for small stains on my kitchen tiles though....I have a 2 year old and a 3 year old and our floor can get quite grubby, especially at meal times!! These wipes are convenient, howeever they would be more handy to have in my handbag or car though or for when eating out etc, using highchairs in coffee shops etc (I'm a bit particular about things like that :) )

In relations to the "Power and Pure" bathroom spray - I liked this a lot! The smell was nice, but again a bit overpowering at times. This product left my bathrooms absolutely sparkling!!! and with no effort of scrubbing whatsoever.

I used the bathroom wipes to clean the toilet seat etc but I felt again that these wipes were slighlty too small and too thin for this job so I had to use 2 at a time. I also felt that they were too moist so had to dry the toilet with kitchen roll afterwards. They were handy for the purpose of cleaning the toilet, but they weren't as convenient as they could be. I also got down on my hands and knees and cleaned my bathroom floor tiles with these wipes and I was very impressed how clean the floor was afterwards!! :-) I would use them for this purpose again, as they were moist enough to do the job effectively!!!

There is no doubt in my mind that the Dettol brand is well known for its good hygiene, and I have often chosen Dettol products over other brands just because of this!

I would definitely buy the bathroom spray again, no hesitation there, it left my bathroom sparkling white, and I would love to buy the bathroom wipes again, but it would depend on the price of them. I'm not sure if I would buy the kitchen products however, as while they cleaned very well, I did not like the streaks it left behind on my surfaces.

I have been using Dettol Multi Action wipes for a while and i found them very good but I definitely prefer Dettol ‘Power and Pure’ especially for the kitchen since there is no need to rinse!
Both spay and wipes are very effective to remove kitchen dirt and grease. I think the spay is good for a deep clean and the wipes are fantastic for a “quick clean” (you know, just before the unexpected visits arrive). I would not be able to choose beteewn them, i really think they are both grand.
For the bathroom, I have always use chloride products for cleaning it, unfortunately they can irritate and the smell is not very nice, that is why I loved Dettol ‘Power and Pure’ Bathroom. It is effective; no need of using gloves and it has a nice smell. I liked the spray for a general and deep cleaning. I have only used the wipes to clean the floor around the toilet (I have a small child toilet training and it is hard to aim the WC!) but I think the old Dettol Multi action wipes can do that job too. So I’ll say that I prefer the spray.
In general I’m very satisfied with those products, and the brand in general, i would definitely say that it is a synonymous of good hygiene and cleanliness!

I have used the dettol multi action in grapefruit and lemon for a number of years, I love it because when you clean the counters they shine and the smell of the fruit lasts. I have also over the years tried the bathroom cleaner, wipes and the original dettol as a floor cleaner and for disinfecting out the garden!

I used the new dettol power and pure for the kitchen it removed all marks and stains without having to scrub and left a fresh clean smell to the kitchen.

I used the wipes as a quick clean in between the daily clean and found then to be of great benefit so much so I started using them on the leather couch and tv! I also loved the fact that you didnt need to wear gloves as they where so mild.

I liked the kitchen spray and wipes as much as each other for convienice the wipes cost effectiveness the spray.... as it took 2 wipes each time I wipped down the kitchen area.

The bathroom spray was great espcially on the shower glass you didnt have to scrub a wiped down and shower clean and it came up perfect along with the rest of the basin, bath and toilet! Again leaving a lovely fresh smell!

The wipes for the bathroom I found great for the sink and toilet also wipping down the tiles, I didnt use them on the shower glass as the first time I did it didnt feel as clean as with the spray!

I liked them both and would buy them both as the wipes are a handy way of keeping the toilet and sink clean inbetwen cleans with small children and visitors!

The Power and Pure range cleaned tough stains and surfaces with no residue left behind and no need for gloves. As a mumof 2 who works 4 days I'm always on the run and dont always remember to wear gloves which can leave my hands sore & chapped from cleaning products. After using the spray & wipes my hands were fine. My black counters are gleaming with no residue :)

The Dettol brand is known as being synonymous with good hygiene, cleanliness and good care in the home as I have used your products over a number of years myself :)

I would definately by both Kithcen and bathroom spray's and also the bathroom wipes for the convienience factor of them, I will continue to use the detool brand and deinately recommend to all the mummies I know. Thanks again for letting me take part in this trial :)

I have seen the dettol brands in the shop. I found the kitchen spray great takes of greese and leaves a clean finish no need to scrub which I was delighted with.The wipes are very handy especially for cleaning the highchair i have a 17 month old daughter you think there is two of her than one :-) or to clean up a small spill. The dettol power and pure bathroom spray was great getting soap off and taking the scum off leaving a fresh smell.The wipes are very handy for the toilet and around it one wipe its clean especially sense my daughter loves touching the toilet seat and flushing the toilet :-) I have a small bathroom downstairs use the wipes to clean it. I love all the dettol products not the strong smell that my parents or grandparents use to use.I def buy and use the Power And Pure Kitchen Spray and the Power And Pure Bathroom Spray as their great value.I knew Dettol was known for good hygiene after using them I know why now.The wipes I would get the bathroom ones again as there convient and efficient the kitchen wipes are grand if you have a small area to clean be alot better if they were abit bigger so you can wipe more in a area. Thank you for introducing me to these great products.My mother was very jealous she was like can they send some to her hehe because of the great smell around the house and good they were.Top marks to dettol.

I’ve been using Dettol products for years and like them especially the Dettol Anti Bacterial Surface Cleanser.

I don’t like the smell of the Dettol Power & Pure Multi Purpose Kitchen cleaner but my husband thought it was lovely. I found it good at cleaning the worktops especially getting rid of tea stains but it did not do a great job at cleaning my kitchen sink which looked dull afterwards.

The Dettol Power & Pure Multi Purpose Kitchen Wipes were good, very handy for wiping down the high chair tray and worktops.

The Dettol Power & Pure Bathroom Spray was a let down, the spray didn’t work so I could only get splatters on the shower walls and it left streaks where it splattered. I had to get a cream cleaner and scrub the surfaces. If the spray worked properly then I believe it would have left the whole surface clean.

The Dettol Power & Pure Bathroom Wipes were good, very handy for a quick wipe but I had to get a dry cloth to dry off and shine up the surfaces. Very handy for wiping the toilet and surrounding floor when the little boys pee everywhere and also very handy if someone calls round I can just pop into the bathroom and give a quick wipe around without having to bring a number of products to the bathroom, just wipe and bin.

I will be bringing the Dettol Power & Pure Multi Purpose Kitchen Wipes with me on my self-catering holiday.

Dettol Power and Pure Multi-Purpose Kitchen spray.

I very much liked this. I feel it took the grease off of the hob and oven very easily. It easily cleaned the worktop counters and tiles and left no residue. The smell was fine, I was quite wary it would have the dettol disinfectant smell, but it didnt.


Dettol Power and Pure Multi-Purpose Kitchen wipes.

I preferred the cleaning action of the spray far more than the wipes. I would consider these handy to use as a general hygenic wipedown of a countertop. I would not be inclined to buy cleaning wipes as I find they are generally too expensive. However, I would pack the likes of these, if they were not too expensive, for going away on self-catering holidays but this would only really occur once or twice a year at most.



Dettol Power and Pure Bathroom spray.

I found this product excellent for cleaning. It cleaned the black residue left behind in the corners of bath toys that I would usually find difficult to shift. The smell was nice and fresh. It made cleaning quite easy and I felt it cleaned my bath, sink and accessories very nicel and with little effort. I would definitely consider purchasing this if it was competitively priced


Dettol Power and Pure Bathroom wipes.

Similar to the kitchen wipes, these would not be something I would buy on a regular basis as I would consider them a luxury and far too expensive for everyday use. However, they are very handy for cleaning around the toilet area and disposing of quickly. Again, I would take these on a holiday with me for convenience. They smelt fine but I prefered the cleaning action of the spray overall.



I do feel that the Dettol brand is a well known and trusted, household name. I would probably see myself purchasing both sprays in the future, but in these recessionary times, I find I stock up on the likes of cleaning products when they are special offer, so if I do see them on special I would definitely purchase them.

I would not rely on the either of the wipes for difficult cleaning jobs, but I would definitely consider purchasing them for self catering family trips away.

I'm very aware of the Dettol brand as my parents always used Dettol when we were growing up.
I have to say I loved the Dettol Power & Pure Kitchen Spray – we have a dark counter and it forever looks dirty, but after using this product it really helped with the clean look! We had burned on stains on our hob and the spray cut through this fairly quick. It felt like I was just wiping down the counters, instead of scrubbing which I'm usually doing!
Loved the Dettol Power & Pure Kitchen Wipes, especially handy for cleaning the baby high chair tray. They are very handy for those situations where you need to clean something and quick! They smelt lovely, cut through the dirt and left no residue on the high chair which was great! I also used them to wipe down doors and handles before visitors arrived.
I have to say I loved the wipes and would buy these quicker than the spray. They are
very handy and convienient, very effective and hygiencic.
The Dettol Power & Pure Bathroom Spray was great, the smell was lovely and stayed in the bathroom hours after cleaning which I loved. The spray cut through all the dried in toothpaste in the sink and the soap scum in the bath very quickly, no scrubbing involved which is brilliant.
The Dettol Power & Pure Bathroom Wipes were a lifesaver. When you get that dreaded call that the inlaws are just dropping in, I flew around the two bathrooms in minutes making sure everything was up to scratch and the wipes left that lovely clean smell also. The wipes didn't remove as much as the spray did but they are very handy for those unannounced callers.
I'd be more inclined to buy the Dettol Power & Pure Bathroom Spray again as I really felt it helped give the bathrooms a deep clean and I just loved the smell! I liked the wipes but I'd have to really scrub with them.
I really like the Dettol Power & Pure range as I'm pregnant the smells really get to me but they didn't with these 4 products, I have very small hands so I never wear gloves when cleaning but I didn't feel like my skin was being eroded like most brands do! I would definitely buy these
products again.
I would genuinely say that the Dettol brand is THE leading brand in home hygiene, and
has been since I've been a young child.
Out of all the products I would be more likely to buy the Dettol Power & Pure Bathroom Spray. It cut through all the grime in the bath, dried in toothpaste in the sink and all the little drops that the men leave behind, it left a lovely clean smell behind which stayed for hours and the bathroom just 'felt' really clean each time I used it.

I had always been familular with dettol brand, but as a child i always hated the smell of dettol and i think that put me off buy the dettol brand when i got older, thinking that it would smell the same and didnt want my whole house smelling of it,lol

i was looking forward to receiving these and im 33wks pregnant, nesting kicked in big time and everything and anything was getting attacked and washed, lol
i loved the kitchen spray, the smell was clean and fresh without the fumes not what i had expected at all, and you wouldnt think it was dettol either, i used it for everything from cleaning out the presses, cleaning down the counter tops wiping out the fridge, washing out the bin, wiping the edges of the windows, washing down the toy storage boxes, and i have to say it done the job that the stronge household cleaners did, except i had no ittatiation on my skin, there was no residue left behind either. the wipes were great also, i used them mainly for wiping small spillages on the floor or for giving it a quick wipe over, but i do prefer sprays to wipes

The bathroom spray, was equally as good as the kitchen spray, i loved the fact that there was no fumes coming from it, i have no window in my bathroom so normally have to make sure the extractor fan is on when im cleaning it out, my bathrooms completly tiled from top to bottom so it was just a matter of spraying wiping and rinsing, and it cleaned them up lovely, even though the product doesnt seem as strong as others, its cleans the room just the same,
like the kitchen wipes, i used the bathroom wipes for quick wipe overs, but i much prefer the sprays.
i have bought both products since testing them so to answer would i buy them again, YES :)

I was not only familiar with the Dettol brand before this trial but indeed, I have always purchased the Dettol Multipurpose wipes, Dettol spray and the Dettol Floor Cleaning Wipes. My husband is always giving me grief about using wipes so often and points out that they are not as cost effective as using the spray bottles , however I feel that as a busy working Mum of two smallies, I don't always have time to get out the JCloths and do the jobs with sprays, I find that during the week I tend to give a quick wipe to everything with the wipes and use the spray bottles at weekends when I am doing a more thorough cleaning effort! This has always been the case.



I found the Dettol Kitchen Spray very effective in cleaning the surfaces in the kitchen. By the time I had sprayed all the black granite worktops and cooker hob and high chairs (messiest area of all!!), it was time to wipe clean. I really liked the idea that I didn't need to rinse off. I normally have to shine the black granite worktops to get a shine but this new spray saving me valuable time .

As outlined above, I love to use wipes for the "in between " times, quick wipes between meals or for the high chair or for an immediate clean up of a stain on the tiled floors. I felt the spray was probably more effective at cleaning but I would certainly buy the wipes too for convenience. One point to note: I did wish that the wipes were larger. One major plus point, the spray was great for removing the difficult to remove tomato based stains from the highchair tray. My eldest loves pasta with tomato based sauces and I think twice before giving her , her favourite brand cos it stained the tray so badly and left an orange hue. The tray is now a pristine white!

I used the fact that I got accepted for this trial as a sign from the heavens that I needed to get around to doing a major cleaning job on the bathrooms!!! I spent a few hours cleaning every crevice of the shower cubicles etc. with the Bathroom Spray bottle. I was amazed at the job it did!! And one thing that I was particularly pleased about was that this job used to nearly always cause me to feel nauseous, standing in the enclosed space with products with overpowering smells, not so this time. Unfortunately, there were some black mould stains on the shower sealant that I had hoped that the product would remove but didnt, but to be fair, I kinda figured I would be needing a specialised cleaning agent for that - I had just fervently hoped! The spray was great for cleaning the bath and removing soap scum etc.

I ALWAYS use Cleaning wipes to clean the toilets as I feel it is the only hygenic means of doing so. Perhaps, in this regard, it would be handy if these wipes were flushable. I found the wipes perfectly effective for this purpose but would prefer if the wipes were larger as I used a lot to clean the 4 x toilets seats etc in the house. Not only would I prefer if the wipes were larger but also if there were more in a packet. It would save me trouble of having to buy them so often.

As for the kitchen scenario, I would (and always have) purchased both the spray and the wipes as I feel I use them for different purposes within the bathroom.

I never use gloves for cleaning as I find them too cumbersome (I have rather large hands and the rubber gloves never fit the length of my fingers) so it was great to find a product range where I don't need to worry about this!

I would buy all four products again. My little girl started creche a few months back and in her first week there , there was an outbreak of ecoli. She was still at the crawling stage and is a "lightweight" for her age and so she picked it up quickly. She was hospitalised for her first birthday . I am therefore constantly cleaning and paranoid about germs etc. Anything that advertises that it kills 99.9% of bacteria is always going to grab my attention, make it an "easy to use " product and it's a winner for me. This is what I felt Dettol promised and delivered. Thanks again for the opportunity to trial these products and I hope you find my feedback useful.

Have used all the products at this stage, I am very impressed with everything apart from the Kitchen spray, the smell is terrible, I always used dettol products, but this is very pungent, will be sticking with my normal dettol, 99% odourless one, which is great and have been using it for a long time!!



The wipes are great, very handy for a quick clean if your in a rush, well impressed with both the kichen and bathroom ones plus the bathroom spray is good too, cleans and leaves a shine. Keep up the good work, but def the kitchen spray will be off my shopping list, way too pungent!!! Couldn't get the smell off my hands either!!!!
