I have known the Dettol brand since I was a child myself - I was happy to seen the Green Dettol Brand Logo boldly emblazened on all the product packaging - their images builds your trust and confidence in the product even before using. I would have used many variants of Dettol products in my home as they came to the market over the last 10 years.

The Dettol Power & Pure Multi Purpose Kitchen Spray was a very effective spray - certainly equal to any other that I have used. I would agree that the spray cleans effectively on all spillages on all surfaces but I do admit that I will use generous amouts of spray to get the job in hand done right first time!

The Dettol Power & Pure Multi Purpose Kitchen Wipes were really good - I feel this may be part due to a higher than normal (?) mositure contents - as above the generous quantity of cleaning agent meant that the wipes cut through even dried in stains quickly and with not too much effort.

I found that both did not leave a residue but felt the wipes left the cleaned down surface a little dull - full confidence though that all germs were killed off. I had no issue with the smell - it cleared away quickly.

I would use the Kitchen Spray more often as I do like to have the kitchen thoroughly cleaned at all times.

The Dettol Power & Pure Bathroom spray was certainly a good all round cleaner - it required some generous use to clear up dried in shampoo or soap. It certainly did leave no residue and rinsed away readily. There was no smell in comparison to other brands and being Dettol, I would again have full confidence that the spray did in fact destroy all germs. Cleaning the bathroom is never easy but this Dettol Power & Pure Bathroom spray certainly did not make it feel such a chore.

The Dettol Power & Pure Bathroom Wipes were very handy to top up cleaning on a daily basis. Again because the smell was not strong and cleared quickly it would encourage daily cleaning to keep on top of the weekly deep clean process in our house. Again the fact the wipes had a good moisture content meant that they quickly cut through and lifted off the daily grime! I liked that the wipes left no residue so my bathroom now looks clean and germ free all the time.

This time I liked the Dettol Power & Pure Bathroom Wipes as it encouraged more daily cleaning and gave me more confidence that my bathroom is now a nicer, cleaner place in our house.

I actually did not use gloves on any cleaning with these products and suffered no drynes of skin at all - I felt this made cleaning 'on the go' easier and encouraged me to do the job there and then, especially with the 2 sets of wipes rather than wait when the stain had dried in and the job became a more onerous task.

The trial has shown me in my own home that the Dettol Brand is here for another generation and that my kids will see that I use it to make their home clean and safe and a special place always.

I will probably use all 4 Dettol products in my daily and weekly routine. The difference in my routine between now and before is the use of the Dettol Power & Pure Bathroom Wipes which I certainly had not been using but would now choose not to omit (from my routine) as my bathroom has become a nicer place everyday with a little use of the wipes.

Firstly thank you to Mummy pages for giving us the opportunity to test the new Dettol kitchen & bathroom wipes. The timing could not have been better, we had the house painted, the painters left at 1pm & the package arrived at 2pm. So the spray & wipes really were used on all sorts of things immediately.

Firstly the kitchen wipes, these are great for giving something a quick wipe down when you don’t want to grab a cloth & spray although they seem very effective they are a little small in size. They did manage to shift crayon off a piece of wood which I’d tried lots of things to move & I also loved the fact that I could give the kids a wipe to “help clean” without having to worry about damaging their skin or mine.

The spray works very well & its great not having to wipe off any residue etc.

I will happily buy the spray in the future but unlikely to buy the wipes as they are a little small & I’d prefer to use a spray & cloth but they are a handy stand by.

The bathroom wipes are similar to the kitchen, a bit small for lots of jobs but I did like the fact that they are disposable in particular for cleaning the toilet & around the taps etc. The spray was ok on the shower door but have used more effective cleaners, again being able to use them without gloves is a major plus point.

Overall I found all the products good but the bathroom wipes & kitchen spray would be my favourites. I try to avoid using bleaches as much as possible so these products from Dettol are a great invention from a company I would trust.

I knew of the Dettol brand before beginning this trial. I have bought some products in the past.

I was definitely a fan of the Dettol ‘Power and Pure’ Multi-Purpose Kitchen spray.  I found it cut through grease very quickly, even in more difficult areas, such as around the cooker and the tiles at the back.  It didn’t leave residue and it smelt pleasant.  I would definitely get this product again.  It really did work!  The Dettol ‘Power and Pure’ Multi-Purpose Kitchen wipes were fine.  I did like that the wipes didn’t all come out of the pack when I pulled one out and they are lovely and moist, so far.They cleaned the counters well and I can see how convenient they would be but they aren’t the product for me.  It is just as handy to use the spray and a cloth.  I was able to leave the spray to dissolve on tough stove spills while cleaning other areas and couldn’t do this with the wipes.  I would use the wipes for a quick clean only.

The Dettol ‘Power and Pure’ Bathroom spray was a good tough cleaner.  The shower had quite a few tough stains around it and the spray cleaned them off with ease.  The shower was gleaming afterwards and that is rare!  The spray cleaned the whole bathroom very easily.  There was no residue, not even on the shower door.  The smell was nice although I do rather the kitchen spray smell.  I loved using the Dettol ‘Power and Pure’ Bathroom wipes on the toilet.  They worked very well and I felt that they left it nice and hygienic.  I used them a few times for a quick clean on the sink, which was convenient.  In general, I would use the spray for the shower, bath and sink and the wipes on the toilet.  I like the disposable aspect after cleaning the toilet.  If I had to pick one, I would pick the spray but I would actually buy both of these products together.

I found the range was great for cleaning, even harsh stains and it was nice to know it was gentle on my hands. They didn’t feel dry after using the products and there was none of that chemical feeling.

I definitely feel that the Dettol brand is synonymous with good hygiene, cleanliness and care in the home. Dettol is a band that I grew up with as a disinfectant and it is reassuring to use it in my home, knowing that not only is it cleaning but it is also disinfecting.

I would buy the Kitchen spray again. I felt it provided a good deep clean and cut through the grease. I would also purchase the bathroom spray and wipes. They both worked well for different parts of the bathroom, the wipes being great for disposing of after cleaning the toilet and handy for a quick clean around the sink. The spray worked well everywhere and I was particularly impressed with the shower.
