A man from Co. Wexford has appealed for help in tracing the whereabouts of a necklace which contains the ashes of his late partner, Lorraine.

Keith Nolan's home was broken into on Wednesday evening and thieves made away with a piece of jewellery of huge sentimental value.

In addition to Kevin's partner's ashes, the necklace also contained the ashes of the couple's unborn child as Lorraine was five months pregnant when she tragically passed away.

The devastated father has taken to social media to plead with the public to remain vigilant, saying: "What I’m afraid of if it was thrown somewhere. The one time I took it off me as I wear it everywhere. Its all I have left of her apart from the girls."

Urging members of the public to get involved in the search, Keith goes on to say: "If you know where it is or have found it can you please contact me. Please share this post mainly the Tramore area."

We hope this hugely important piece of jewellery can be returned to Keith as soon as possible.
