The devastation of losing your family is incomparable, and to lose all of the memories of your life together is downright unimaginable.
This is why our hearts go out to Ivelisse Martinez, who not only lost her husband and son in a car crash, but has also lost her memory of them.
Jose Vargas Rosario and Ivelisse were driving with their one-year-old son, Brayden, last Friday when an oncoming vehicle struck their stationary car at a red light.
While Jose and Brayden lost their lives in the accident, Ivelisse was critically injured and is recovering in hospital.
In a devastating update released by police this week however, it has been revealed that Ivelisse cannot remember the crash or her family.
With authorities still trying to piece the accident together, few details have been released, however it was confirmed yesterday that there are no pending criminal charges in the case so far.
The Rosario family have now set up a GoFundMe page (link here) to raise money for funeral and medical expenses.
Our hearts go out to the entire family at this time, and especially Ivelisse. We hope she will make a fully and speedy recovery.
