We’ve long been fans of the magic that is Disney On Ice, so you can imagine our (undignified) squeals when we heard that – quite aptly – Frozen is the latest Disney movie to be brought to life.
So we know you’ll appreciate us giving you the very important heads up that tickets for this much anticipated event – taking place this November – are going on sale TOMORROW!
We know and you know if there’s anything that will make the kids more excited than Elsa, Ana and Kristoff, it’s watching Elsa, Ana and Kristoff in real life, gliding across the ice.
This is a brand new production, so the entire Frozen story will be told on the ice for the very FIRST time. And if you’re one of the few who doesn’t know what it’s is about, in a nutshell it’s an epic adventure following brave Ana, as she searches for her beloved sister Elsa with the help of rugged mountain man Kristoff, his loyal reindeer Sven, and the lovable and hilarious snowman Olaf.
But who are we kidding? You knew that already, didn’t you?
In true Disney On Ice style there will be some special appearances along the way by Disney princesses and characters from the likes of Toy Story, Finding Nemo and The Lion King – and of course Mickey and Minnie will be there!
With a show of this calibre, you can count on some seriously spectacular sets. In fact, the set design will encompass the ice surface rising up through the air, making the show will a completely immersive experience for the audience.
So all that’s left is to practice our vocals for Frozen hits “Let it Go”, “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” and “Fixer Upper” in time for the big sing along!
The Irish shows of Disney on Ice Frozen are taking place in Citywest, Dublin from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 November 2016.
