As the parent of any little girl can attest, perfecting their hairstyle before school in the morning can be time-consuming and stressful, especially if it doesn't meet their exacting standards!

One dad, who knew only too well the trials and tribulations of tending to his daughter's tresses, decided to share his knowledge and expertise with a whole host of other fathers eager to hone their skills in this department.

Having become a single parent when his daughter, Emma, was just one-year-old, Philippe Morgese soon learnt the importance of a little girl's hair, and with a little practice and patience soon mastered a number of styles which garnered praise from children and parents alike.

Upon realising there existed a vast number of fathers who were eager to become more hands-on in his department, the Florida-native went about organising a workshop tutorial in an effort to meet their requirements.

Speaking to BuzzFeed News about his wonderful endeavour, Philippe said: "I thought it would be easier to show them [fellow dads] in person."

Explaining the motivation behind the move, Emma's proud father simply said: "I get a lot of credit for doing her hair and hear compliments about my role as a father because of it. I want other dads to be able to experience that."

With the help of local beauty school, International Academy, the budding teacher organised a free class, explaining: "I didn’t want any cost to anybody. I didn’t want to stop anyone from learning,"

The Dads and Daughters hair class proved an enormous success, with patient fathers mastering the art of braids and buns under the watchful eye of Philippe and his little girl.

In addition to providing a free service to eager dads, Philippe insists the class has an even greater significance, saying: "I feel like the kudos has made me a better dad."

"When you hear 'you are such an awesome dad,’ you start to believe it and let go of the mistakes you make as a parent," he explained with heartwarming honesty.

We know a lot of dads who would certainly benefit from Philippe's incredible endeavour!
