As the royal family continued their official visit to Canada today, William and Kate headed to Vancouver "to see how to city is dealing with important issues such as addiction, mental health and the resettlement of refugees."

The royal couple spent time with a local charity that aims to support mothers and pregnant women who are battling with addiction.

The pair heard stories from some of the mothers who have been helped by the charity, Sheway and were cleared moved by their courage and bravery in overcoming their addictions.

One mother arrived late to the party after she had to change her little one’s nappy.

“Sorry, we just had a little accident to clear up before meeting you,” she said to William and Kate.

But after two kids, it seems William has had his fair share of nappy changes as he joked:

“No worries at all, we know all about that.”

The group then gifted the Duke and Duchess with two teddy bear vests for Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

With personalised labels for the young royals, Kate expressed her gratitude saying:

“Thank you so much. Charlotte will love this, she loves her teddies.”

And never to leave little George out, William added: “George too, he’s a big fan, thank you so much. You’re all such well-behaved children. I’m so impressed!”
