Facebook users have wasted no time airing their views on a recent post shared by Ursula Presgrave, a former cast member of BBC show The Call Centre.

Taking to the popular social media site earlier this week in order to share her misguided views on children living with Down's Syndrome, the Swansea-native suggested allowing people with the condition to live a normal life is 'cruel'.

The post, which has since been removed from the site, laid bare Ursula's shocking views, reading: "Anyone born with down syndrome should be put down, it's just cruel to let them lead a pointless life of a vegetable." (sic)

While the post was liked 16 times, the vast majority of social media users were horrified by Ursula's uneducated perspective on the condition and those that live with it.

Eager to put her straight on the matter, thousands of people commented on the post and insisted Ursula reconsider her views.

Drawing on her own experience, one outraged Facebook user wrote: "My son has Down's syndrome and is three but he is more of a person then you will ever be sweetheart."

"What goes around comes around and I hope your karma is terrible. Shame on you," she finished.

Similarly, another member of the public reflected on Ursula's choice words before writing: "You are a disgusting excuse for a human being. I work with adults with Down's syndrome and they a live a happy life doing day to day things that we can do."

Clearly horrified by the reality star's vile comment, she continued: "You are just a small minded arrogant b***h."

Despite the outpouring of criticism, Ursula has refused to apologise for her ill-advised remarks, choosing instead to post cruel photos which taunt people with Down's syndrome.

It has been established that the police are now investigating Ursula's posts.
