The family of a missing teenager have expressed their deep concern, after he disappeared along with his girlfriend earlier this week.

According to a report in the Belfast Telegraph, Louis Thompson and Ebony Briggs, both 14, have not been seen since late Tuesday night.

The young couple, who have been in a relationship for six months, were last seen as Louis walked Ebony to a bus stop close to his home in East Belfast. Ebony is said to have been staying in a care home and needed to be back there by 10pm.

Having failed to return home, and having not been spotted or heard from since, Louis’ grandmother Ruth told the newspaper that she is ‘out of her head with worry’.

“Goodness knows where they are. We were told there were some sightings of them late on Tuesday night. The police are out looking for them and they are on the high risk,” she said.

Anyone with information as to the teens’ whereabouts is asked to get in touch with Strandtown Police Station.

We sincerely hope that these teens will be found safe and sound, and soon.
