Two years on from her disappearance in 2013, the heartbroken family of Elizabeth Clarke have spoken of their grief and appealed to the public for help in ending their nightmare.

25-year-old Elizabeth, who is the mother of two young children, was last seen in Navan, Co. Meath, in November 2013, but despite a widespread search there has yet to be found anything which may offer a clue to the young woman's whereabouts.

Opening up about the family's heartache, her grief stricken aunt, Geraldine Olliffe, expressed disbelief over the circumstances surrounding her niece's disappearance, saying: "It is a mystery. She hasn't appeared on CCTV, there have been no proper sightings of her. There has been nothing. Just nothing. How can that be?"

Insistent her niece wouldn't have disappeared of her own accord, Geraldine reminds the public she was the mother of two young children, saying: "They are only two and five years old now. We know that she wouldn't leave them. She lived for them and everything she did was for them."

Elizabeth's aunt and her extended family acknowledged that the young mum-of-two was a 'vulnerable and easily led girl", and fear that these qualities may have resulted in her untimely demise.

"As far as we are concerned we are now looking for our Elizabeth's body. All we want to do is bring her home and give her a proper burial beside her granddad. They were very close.," explains Geraldine.

Appealing to the public for assistance in the case, Elizabeth's uncle, Anthony Clarke, insisted: "People do not vanish, especially not Elizabeth. If something was wrong she would have come to us."

"We are pleading with anyone who may have seen her to please come forward. It doesn't matter how insignificant you think it is. Just please tell us if you know something," he finished.

The mother-of-two is described as 5 foot 3 inches in height and weighs approximately 7 stone.

She has brown hair and brown eyes, and when last seen was wearing blue jeans and a yellow hooded jumper.
