In an effort to 'bring joy to some people', Penelope's dad, Scott, uploaded a snap of his daughter's first meeting with her great-grandmother, Millie.
The image, which sees 92-year-old Millie and two-day-old Penelope gaze into each other eyes with a faint sense of recognition, has captured the internet's heart and made the beautiful Penelope an overnight sensation,
Commenting on the truly touching shot which was taken on what would have been his grandmother's 71st wedding anniversary, Scott said: "They just stared at each other for a while, it was like they knew each other."
The proud dad, who shares an incredibly close bond with his grandmother. captioned the image: "My 92-year-old grandmother meeting my two-day-old daughter for the first time. Life comes and goes, but it's always beautiful."
