If you have read J.K.Rowlings Harry Potter series (like who hasn’t?!), then you will know all about the amazing clock Molly Weasley - Ron's mum - has in her kitchen.
The clock is no ordinary clock (obviously!), and rather than tell the time it shows exactly where each member of her family is: school, home, dentist, quidditch, prison or lost to name a few.
It is so cool, that we think EVERY family home should have one on their wall; something that a 21-year-old superfan from Duke University clearly agreed with.
The student decided to use his technical genius and an old antique clock to make his very own version – who says you need magic.
Et voilà! The glass in the hinged metal rim broke in transit, but I kept the metal there anyhow. The glowing B is black paint on acrylic, lit by the tail end of the LED strand hanging down, and it flashes a different color for each member of the family when it's about to update their position!
His clock, he explained on imgur, knows exactly where everyone in his family is, thanks to pre-set information, and syncs with phones to determine their GPS location.
"Everyone in the family creates locational rules on their phones, and it updates whenever they enter a specified radius!"
Absolutely genius!
