Father’s reaction to son choosing a doll for his birthday goes viral

As we teach our children about acceptance and being who they want to be, it is important that we as parents practise what we preach, something this father has well and truly mastered.

 

A dad in California has gone viral for all the right reasons when he took his young son to exchange a birthday present in the toy store.

 

After declaring that his youngster choose a mermaid doll, the father asked: “Now how do you think a dad feels when his son wants to get this?”

 

However, it’s the reaction after that made us feel all warm and fuzzy – when the father and son scream, “Yeah!”

 

Not surprisingly the video, which was only posted a few days ago, has been viewed more than eight million times!
