Fearne Cotton has gone from kids TV presenter to the national broadcaster since starting out in the industry nearly 20 years ago.

But now, Fearne is spending much more time putting the work into her most important job to date; being a mum.

Most recently she has collaborated with Pretty Upfront to create Fearne’s Happiness Project.

Speaking to Hello! magazine about her new project, Fearne spoke about trying to find happiness even with a busy schedule.

“Happiness is a subject I'm massively interested outside of work and I'm always trying to find new ways of feeling good and navigating through this weird terrain that is our lives."

And it seems as though it is the simple things in her life that have brought the mum happiness.

"If I'm feeling a bit rubbish, it can be instantly switched up by hanging with my kids, my husband or good friends.

"As I've got older I've realised it really is simple things like that, or yoga or swimming or baking – whatever little hobby or ritual you need to kind of click yourself back in."

And Fearne has found that a lot of her friends feel the same.

Speaking to Davina McCall in the latest episode of her series, the two mums shared their top five tips for mums.

From setting boundaries to loving yourself, Fearne and Davina had a chat about the little bits of advice they’ve picked up along the way.
