If your children are fortunate enough to have met their grandparents or indeed great-grandparents, you'll know only too well how important the bond they share is, so it's no surprise that recent footage which documents the unique nature of the relationship has been met with such positivity online.

Taking to Facebook to give an insight into the bond he shares with his 93-year-old great-grandmother, a young man from New Zealand has touched thousands of people who have been quick to share the heartwarming upload across various social media channels.

While 23-year-old Jarryd Stoneman knows his elderly relative struggles on account of her Alzheimer's diagnosis, he was eager to remind the public that there are some things you will never forget - the joy of dancing, for example.

Taking his Nanny's hand, Jarryd gently guided her around the room while they swayed in time to 7 Years by Lukas Graham in a video which Jarryd accompanied with the message: 'Asked nanny for a dance she can't remember much but she still knows how to move.'

The footage which has been liked more than 39,000 times on Facebook has struck a chord with members of the public far and wide.

Grab a tissue and check it out.
