The teenager, who died on Sunday evening after collapsing outside a city centre nightclub in the early hours of Sunday morning, will be laid to rest today.
Gathering on the steps of the funeral home in Glasthule, devastated friends and classmates of the young film student consoled each other as they attempted to come to terms with the teen’s tragic passing last weekend.
The young woman, who has been described as vivacious, friendly and popular, has been reposing in Quinn’s funeral home since yesterday afternoon ahead of her funeral in the Church of the Assumption in Dalkey later this morning.
Ana will be laid to rest in Shanganagh Cemetery later today.
Gardaí are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the former Loreto College student’s death.
