It's time for a double celebration in the Brogan household, as their twin boys have arrived.
On Tuesday, Bernard's wife Keira gave birth to the two boys at The Rotunda Hospital.
The new parents named the pair, Donagh and Keadán.
Taking to Instagram, the 34-year-old posted a beautiful photograph of him with the boys.
The GAA star captioned the picture: "Never have I felt as blessed. Thank you to my beautiful wife @keekib22 for bringing me so much joy. Welcome Donagh & Kaedán Brogan 10/7/2018."
Keira and Bernard tied the knot in December 2016.
Previously in an interview, Bernard opened up about how chuffed he was to become a dad.
“I’m really, really excited to be starting a family. I got married at Christmas a year ago and I’m in a new stage of life,” he said.
However, there is no pressure for his boys to follow in his GAA footsteps.
“Sport has been such an important part of my life for a long time, it’s given me a new perspective. It’s a really nice time for us.”
He added that children should try lots of different sports and then perhaps choose what they want to do.
