Gardaí have this weekend appealed to the public for their assistance in tracing the whereabouts of a Limerick teenager, who has been reported missing.

Darnell Price, who is 16 years old, was last seen on O’Connell Street, Co. Limerick, on Tuesday, January 26.

In a statement issued by the Trace Missing Persons Ireland Facebook account, Darnell is described as being 5ft 6in tall, of slim build, with brown hair.

When last seen, the teen was wearing a green jacket and navy-blue tracksuit, with blue runners.

The authorities have asked anyone with information, who might be able to assist them with their enquiries to get in touch as soon as possible. You can do so by contacting Henry Street Garda Station on 056 7754157, or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111. Alternatively, you can call or drop into any garda station around the country.

We are thinking of Darnell’s family at this time, and we hope he will be found safe and sound, soon.
