Gardaí are looking to speak to any persons who may have observed suspicious activity in the area of Puckscastle Lane and Kiltiernan Lead Mines, Rathmichael, from 6 pm last Saturday, May 19, 2018, to 8 pm Sunday, May 20, 2018.

This appeal comes after the discovery of the 24-year-old’s purse and ID. Gardaí found her belongings in a disused golf course.

It is understood that the Defence Forces, gardaí, civil defence and sniffer dogs are searching a wooded area in the Rathmichael area.
Last night, a man, who Gardaí had been searching for, was shot dead.

Jastine was reported missing to Gardaí by her family on Saturday night. Her reported disappearance followed an earlier incident near Enniskerry when shortly after 6.15pm Gardaí received a report of a female pedestrian being forced into a car on the R760 south of Enniskerry. The car involved in this incident was described to Gardaí as a dark coloured Nissan SUV.
Jastine is described as approximately 5ft in height, of slight build with long black hair and brown eyes. When last seen she was wearing a dark coloured jacket, white t-shirt, grey leggings and runners.
