If you have some free time today, head along to Dundrum Town Centre and take part in the Pharmaton Energy Bank for Temple Street.

A suite of exercise bikes will be set up on the third floor of the centre and, rather than asking people to donate cash, Pharmaton will be encouraging busy shoppers to donate their energy by hopping on a bike and pedalling for Temple Street. The energy used will be converted into cash for the hospital and the target of the day is €10,000 so get your exercise outfit on.

TV3’s Anna Daly, who will be representing Temple Street on the day, says: ‘As an ambassador to the hospital, I’m delighted to be taking part in the Pharmaton Energy Bank event to raise much needed funds for Temple Street. You don’t have to donate cash – just your energy! I’m really looking forward to a fun energetic day for a great cause.’’

Speaking at the launch of the partnership, Anne Cooney, Corporate Partnerships Manager, said: “It is not often we are in the unique position to ask people to donate their energy to Temple Street instead of their hard earned cash. But this energy will fuel a vital donation from Pharmaton to our very special hospital. Please get on your bike for our little patients and make a difference to the lives of sick children.”

To help those who are feeling a little less energetic, a daily dose of Pharmaton Active Life caplets - packed with Vitamins B6 and B12, iron and Ginseng Extract G115 - can help sustain energy levels, helping you feel at your best whilst supporting your busy life. There is even a kiddies’ range - Kiddi Health Syrup and Pharmaton Kiddi Crunchy - ideal for busy, growing kids.

So you have no excuse not to get on your bike.
