The creator and writer of several hit television series, including Glee and Nip/Tuck, Ryan Murphy, has welcomed his second baby with his husband, David Miller.

Their new baby son, Ford, was born via surrogate and the proud parents brought him home on Friday. They also have a toddler, Logan, who was born on Christmas Eve 2012.

Ryan told reporter the happy news at a TV premier. “His name is Ford,” he said. “I brought him home today from the hospital and Logan gave him kind of a side eye.”

“For 21 months, Logan has been the light of my life and now there are two.”

Ryan and David were able to be there for the birth of their new baby, an incredibly emotional experience.

“It was an amazing birth,” Ryan said. “37 weeks and a day and he was a chunker, 7 lbs 13 oz. David and I were there and pulled him out and cut the cord and cried and it was pretty amazing.”

“And now look at me I'm crying again.”

“It's amazing to be two dads and we have a wonderful surrogate,” he said. “It's so uplifting and I've enjoyed sharing our story with young gay families.”
