A British man has issued a desperate appeal for help in finding his grandson, who went missing after the terrorist attacks in Barcelona yesterday.

So far, the death toll is at 13 after terrorists drove a van into busy crowds at the popular Las Ramblas area of the capital. More than 100 more people were injured, with many being treated in hospital.

Tony Cadman took to Facebook to appeal for information regarding his grandson, Julian Cadman, who has been missing since the incident.

Little Julian, who is seven years old, is said to have been separated from his mother, Jom, who was injured in the attack. While Jom is being treated in hospital, there has been no trace of Julian.

Sharing a photo of Julian to the social media site, Tony wrote: “My grandson, Julian Alessandro Cadman, is missing. Please like and share.

“We have found Jom (my daughter-in-law) and she is in a serious but stable condition in hospital.

“Julian is seven years old and was out with Jom when they were separated, due to the recent terrorist activity. Please share if you have family or friends in Barcelona.”

Julian’s father, Andrew – who reportedly lives in Sydney, Australia – is said to have flown into Spain to lead the search for the little boy.

Tony’s post has been shared across social media, with hundreds of people taking to the comment section to share their good wishes.

“Hope he is found safe and sound, soon,” wrote one friend, echoing the sentiments of so many others.

We sincerely hope that little Julian will be reunited with his family soon, and we will keep you updated on the story as more information emerges.
