A Belgium grandfather who recently lost his wife of 63 years was overwhelmed by emotion when his family gave him a puppy in a bid to ease his grief.
In the touching video, Davy Vanhaesendonck explains that his grandfather, François Vermeir, lost "someone very special" after his grandmother's death following a brief illness.
To provide him with some company, Davy and his family gave the grieving 85-year-old a puppy - prompting some truly heart-warming scenes.
Davy said he has been overwhelmed by the response to his video.
"Apparently people find it so beautiful and want to share it with as many people as possible," he said.
