At just 13 years of age, Anna van Keulen, from the Netherlands, was an extremely gifted piano player.
Tragically, Anna passed away last month from injuries she suffered as a result of a bike accident.
Devastated at the loss of his child, Anna’s father Niek decided to do his very best to make one of her dreams come true: to become famous.
Niek went on to upload a video of Anna playing the theme from TV show Downton Abbey to YouTube, with his plan proving an overwhelming success.
After just five days of being live, Anna has become an Internet sensation, with her beautiful playing clocking up over two million views.
In translated tweets, Niek described the response as “overwhelming”, but added: “I do not want to be on radio or TV, it’s not about me; it’s about Anna. Thank you.”
