Halloween is not just for older kids and adults to get dressed up and enjoy the day, your baby can also get involved in the fun. While putting a cute little fairy or wizard costume on them might seem like a good idea, it can become quite cumbersome and really uncomfortable for young kids.

Instead of going out and buying an outift that your little one is, realistically, only going to wear for about an hour or two, why not make your own. This is the best way to ensure that your son or duaghter will be comfortable, and you'll save yourself a fortune as well.

What you’ll need:
  • Plaid shirt - you can pick one up fairly cheaply in a charity shop or cut up one that you own
  • Handkerchief bib - you are bound to have one of these lying around the house
  • Denim style leggings or jeans if you have them. Alternatively, why not use blue trousers or even blue tights.
  • Cowboy hat
  • Horse teddy, optional
Method:
  1. Dress your baby in the leggings and shirt.
  2. Tie the handkerchief bib around them.
  3. Pop a cowboy hat on their head - cut off the string if there is one.
  4. Give them a small horse teddy to carry around with them.
