This animation, called Anya, tells the heartwarming story of a Russian orphan over 20 years.
The short film was made by Irish company Brown Bag Films for charity To Russia With Love and has already received over 15,000 views on YouTube.
The charity, set up by Debbie Deegan in 1998, aims to help orphaned and abandoned children in Russia build trust and self esteem and has transformed the lives of thousands of orphaned Russian children.
The charity has also been touched by a woman in Texas named Allison Hoffman who has designed a crochet bear similar to Anya’s teddy bear in the film.
She is asking people to make similar bears and send them to her where she will then personally deliver the soft toys to the Russian orphanages so that the children can have them.
