Watching our children interact with the older generation is one of the sweetest things we can  witness as a parent, so it’s no surprise documentary film, Present Perfect, has pulled on heartstrings.

In an effort to analyse the experience of ageing in the United States, filmmaker Evan Briggs documented the exchanges which took place between elderly residents at retirement home, The Mount, and the children who attend the home’s Intergeneration Learning Centre.

Struck by the concept, Evan decided to film the relationships which blossomed within this centre and captured some incredibly touching and heartwarming moments in the process.

By exploring these exchanges, Evan gives the viewer an insight into the truly moving ways relationships can be born in some of the most unlikely surroundings.

Check out the trailer for this incredibly inspirational film.
