Serving your child's imaginary friend a portion of the family's dinner or including them in a family day out is part and parcel of daily life for many parents.

With recent research indicating that one in three British children confirm they have an imaginary friend, Heathrow Airport have decided to accommodate these loyal pals while travelling with their real families.

Illustrating their commitment to young customers, the international airport have released a video which shows just how important imaginary friends are in the eyes of airport staff.
