A young girl has said that she will “never look down at homeless people again” after she missed the last train home and a homeless man came to her rescue.

 

Nicole Sedgebeer was in London for a night out last Thursday, but when she missed the last train from Euston Station to Milton Keyes she was left stranded with nowhere to go.

 

However, a guardian angel in the form of a man named Mark came to her rescue when he showed her to an all night cafe that she could stay in until the morning.

 

But that’s not all he did.

 

Taking to Facebook to share her experience, Nicole also added that Mark returned at 5am (after getting a bus back to her) to walk her back to the station so that she could get the first train home.

 

Asking him why he did it, Mark simply said “it was a father's duty to get another man's daughter home safe'.”

"This man who I probably would of avoided eye contact with if he asked for spare change, completely changed such a negative event into the most eye opening event in my life,” explained Nicole.

 

"Mark,  you are one special man. I will never look down on a homeless person again."
