A mother in Ohio was horrified to discover that a toy she had purchased for her young daughter hid a very disturbing image within. The pink fairy wand, despite being called Evil Stick, appeared to tick all the other boxes when it comes to fairy princess paraphernalia and its pretty packaging would catch the eye of any little girl.

Nicole Allen thought nothing of making the purchase, but was appalled when her daughter began playing with the toy and a picture of what seems to be a possessed child brandishing a knife was revealed beneath the silver foil of the wand.

Commenting on the shocking discovery, Nicole said: “I want to know how they think that is suitable for a child. There was Barbie dolls on one side and baby toys on the other side, and this was right in the middle. It’s a picture of a girl slitting her wrists. I’m outraged over it.”

The store’s owner Amar Moustafa has hit back at criticism, saying: "The name on it, it says "Evil Stick". So from the name, if I was buying it for my kid, I would inspect it before I gave it to them." He is adamant that the toy is suitable for children from the age of five, insisting: “They see that on TV every day."

Shockingly, the product has yet to be removed from the shelves.
