Want to see how popular your child’s name will be in the future?

These days, many parents love their children to have unique names, and now there is something that can help them do this.

Research assistant at Virginia Tech, Chris Franck, has developed a tool that will allow parents to see how popular their baby’s name will be in years to come.

The amazing graph allows you to put in your baby’s name and it then generates statistics telling you when the name peaked last , and how it will fare over the next 25 years.

The tool could prove useful for parents who perhaps wish to name their little one something unusual or even an old classic, but want to ensure there won’t be five of the same in the classroom in years to come.

For instance, the graph tell us that the name Miley last peaked in 2008, and is due to rise again in 2015.

In contrast, the name Mason for a boy last peaked in 2011 and will decline as a baby name every year from now through 2032.

Put your baby’s name into the generator over at Times.com to see how popular the name will be in decades to come.
