The Zoological Wildlife Foundation has shared a pretty amazing piece of footage on its Instagram feed, showing a capuchin monkey comforting its sister after she received a “timeout” for being bold!
Proving once again that an animal can be just as compassionate to those vulnerable around them as humans can, Toby is seen patting Angelica’s back and stroking her head as she hangs it in shame.
“Toby consoling Angelica who’s on timeout!” wrote the poster, adding the hashtag ‘almost human’.
This is incredibly touching. Our kids could definitely learn a lot from this show of sibling love!
