Once kids come along, there’s a tendency for our love lives to go on the back-burner, and fitting in some romantic time with your other half can prove as difficult as getting the kids to stay in bed after lights-out.

This is something that blogger Constance Hall and her husband can attest to, and the mother-of-four decided to share her experience of ‘parent sex’ with the world in an unapologetically honest post this week.

Constance, who blogs at The Not So Secret Life of Us, took to Facebook to share a very candid account of what it’s like to get amorous in a household full of kids, and it’s safe to say that mums and dads all over the world can relate.

“You know what parent sex is, it's that 3.5 minutes you get in between changing nappies and making food, where you notice that all of your kids are pretty distracted; where you realise it's been almost a month since you banged and are starting to feel like flat mates,” explains Constance in her now viral post.

She goes on to describe hiding under a sheet for fear of her children witnessing, and “listening to Iggle Piggle in the background” while the deed is taking place.

With over 100,000 likes and 26,000 shares, it’s safe to say that Constance’s experience has registered with parents all over the world!
