A father in his 60s was killed last night while he was out walking with his 17-yeaar-old daughter near Lucan in Dublin.
A car struck the man at around 9pm last night and paramedics treated him at the scene but pronounced his dead a short time later.
The 17-year-old girl was taken to hospital where her condition is said to be serious but not life threatening.

The driver of the car was treated for shock at the scene.
