An image of Valerie Parrott on her wedding day has been viewed by millions of people after her photographer shared the picture, as it sends a very important message.
Valerie suffers from anxiety, and her dog Bella helps her to control her condition, something she has been doing for the past two years.
In the picture, Bella and Valerie are having a touching moment, and the pooch has been getting some well-deserved world-wide recognition.
Commenting on the image that has gone viral, photographer Maddie Peschong explained that in the picture Bella is actually working - she is performing a job.
"She's calming Val down during a hectic, stressful wedding day, making sure her heart rate is where it needs to be and anxiety isn't getting to be too much. It was a work day for Bella."
Taking to her blog to explain the importance of her working dog, Valerie, who suffers from panic attacks and migraines, said: "The best part about this whole thing is that I can finally help educate more people about service dogs."
"Every time a news station contacts me, all I can think is how amazing this is for our community. So many people don’t know that service dogs can be used for so many invisible illnesses.”
"The other thing is a lot of people look at a service dog team and forget that it is because of that partnership, that both dog and handler can not only survive life, they can thrive at it."
