There’s nothing quite like a few classic Christmas songs to get you into the festive spirit, and so we are incredibly excited about the 2015 launch of Christmas FM.

The charity radio show, which delights the masses each year while raising funds for worthy causes, returns to the airwaves on Saturday, November 28.

Since its initial launch back in 2008, Christmas FM has raised over €600,000 for charities including the ISPCC, Barnardos, Simon, Focus Ireland, Age Action and Aware.

This year, the charity of choice is Make-A-Wish Ireland; the organisation that specialises in making dreams come true for children with life-threatening medical conditions.

Lending a hand at this week’s launch was singer and show host Imelda May, who was only too delighted to mark the occasion.

“I'm a huge supporter of Make-A-Wish Ireland. It's such a positive, happy charity, full of wonderful people who go to great lengths to make special children's dreams come true, right when it matters. I’d like to encourage everyone to tune in to the feel-good classic Christmas hits on Christmas FM this year and help to raise valuable funds for Make-A-Wish Ireland,” said the mother-of-one.
