He is definitely known for his outspoken words, but it’s clear that Kanye West is truly besotted with his two kids, North and Saint West.

In fact, in an exclusive interview with E! News, the rapper explained how becoming a father has changed his outlook on his career.

Talking to journalist Ken Baker, the 39-year-old said that his three-year-old daughter and eight-month-old son have impacted on his career hugely since they came into his life.

"Everything that I do now is to [make things], I don't want to say better because who's to say if it's better, but fresher or doper. Make a cooler world for my kids and everybody's kids' sake," he said.

However, it's not just his own kids that he wants to make the world a better place for.

Explaining how he feels a responsibility towards other people, he added: "Just bring art to the front. That's my push in society… I use my platform that I have as a really well known artist to push art and make art equal to commerce."

However, true to form, that's not the only thing Kanye said; talking about his role in society as a role model, he added that it is important we acknowledge who inspires us for an enriched mind state.

"[People] seem like they hate when they mention my role models like I shouldn't mention their name. I would hope that people would mention my name if I'm one of their role models."

The dad-of-two was at the VMAs with his wife Kim Kardashian yesterday, and the pair looked as loved up as ever.
