Katie Price’s husband Kieran Hayler wants to adopt stepson Harvey.
In an interview with OK! Magazine, Kieran spoke about life caring for the 14-year-old and his hopes to legally adopt him.
"I've always thought it would be good because I'd like us all to be connected. He is my child at the end of the day.
“Why not actually make him mine, because he feels like he's mine anyway? He's my stepson no matter what happens."
Kieran is already the father to two-year-old Jett and one-year-old Bunny with Katie who has called him a “great dad”.
Katie has spoken about Harvey’s biological father, Dwight Yorke, in interviews in the past, saying:
"I've sent him pictures of Harvey but I never get anything back. Anyone can fill a pram, but it takes a real man to be a father.
"I think he's an absolute fool and it's a shame Harvey hasn't had the support he deserves from him."
Kieran isn’t the first to want to adopt Harvey however as Peter Andre spoke about the idea in 2009 when the pair were married.
"Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to adopt him and it's not going to be an easy road. I love him."
We’ll have to wait and see whether Kieran’s attempts to adopt are more successful.
