Girls Aloud singer, Kimberley Walsh, is refreshingly honest when it comes to her experience of motherhood. Last week she revealed here, that like many new mothers, she struggled to breastfeed her six-week-old son Bobby, while today she admits that being seperated from him for the first time left her feeling “nervous and weird”.

32-year-old Kimberley performed at the Specsaver's Spectacle Wearer of the Year awards, but felt a little out of her comfort zone and couldn't wait to get home. Writing in her OK! Magazine column, Kimberley detailed her evening and said: “As soon as I got home, I went to see Bobby, got out of my dress and straight into my nursing bra and pyjamas, ready for the next feed.”

Whether she knew it or not, all eyes were on the gorgeous new mum at the stylish event and, as usual, she didn't disappoint. She wore a black dress by Faith Connexion and looked every inch the glamorous singer we know and love, but she has no intention of pretending the baby lbs are magically melting off. Crediting her slim look to a Spanx underskirt, Kimberley did justice to new mums everywhere, saying: “I'm not going to pretend it's anything else.”

Kimberley really is a mum after our own hearts. Never change, Kim!
