The Kooky Dough was so easy to make and they are absolutley gorgeous. My partner and 3year son loved them so much they were gone in 5min. The Kooky Dough would be brilliant for a kids party or family and friends coming around as they don't take to long to cook. Thank you so much for the Kooky Dough as it was loved so much.

Thank you Mammy Page

Before testing this product I had not previously heard of the kooky dough brand, but am truly delighted to have discovered it. The fact that it uses high quality natural ingrediants is just one of its many bonuses.
Once we received the kooky dough we were eager to give them a go as the packaging made them look fun and simple to make. As my son had friends over for the evening, we decided to bake both sets of dough (triple chocolate chip and chucky chocolate chip). The cookies were so easy to make and the instruction were both clear and easy to follow. Both sets of cookies went down a treat (by both children and adults alike) however the triple chocolate chip was unanimously the favourite because of all its chocolaty favours
Having 3 small children under six, baking is an activity we enjoy doing together and we try to bake at least once every one/two weeks. However it can often be a messy and time consuming process, but by using this product it gave us an alternative option, allowing us the enjoyment of making cookies together, with the children still being involved, without any of the usual fuss. We will look forward to keeping an eye out for future products in this range, especially if they were to include any additional flavours such as caramel or toffee.
I will definitely be purchasing this product again and recommending it to my friends, (and not just the ones with children!)
Thanks for giving is this opportunity to test this product,
Emma

I should start with being very honest. I am no baker!! As a fulltime working mother I find the prospect of starting to bake scary knowing ill have the tidying up to look forward to but my 5 year old daughter loves it and I love having the time for just the two of us to do something together. Lets face it with Irish weather us mums have to find plenty of ways to keep our children occupied indoors without leaving them in front of a tv or computer. I had never come across the Kooky Dough brand before but loved the concept of having all the hard work done already. Im now totally converted. This product could not be easier to use or store by the way. The neat little boxes it comes in are easily stacked in the fridge and dont take up much room, It's a one stop box all you need is an oven and a tray as everything else you need is inside the box. The directions are very easy to follow even for a novice like me. They left a lovely smell wafting through the house to really give the impression im a total domestic godess!!! The triple chocolate chip are easier to cut through (they're just a firmer dough) and both taste fab they were barely cooled and they were gone. I will definitely use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone whether they have chilldren or not. Im looking forward to the muffins and especially the scones. I can already taste them with cream and jam!!! Thanks so much for the chance of trying these it really made by daughter's day. Happy baking everyone.

Kooky dough is a huge hit in our house! Myself, my fiancé, my 9 year old son and 8 month old daughter love them! Our favourite flavour was the choc chip. Loved the packaging and easy to read instructions. Also love the fact that the grease proof paper is included and fits a baking sheet perfectly, so easy! Best to cut the dough when straight out of fridge. My son didn't help make them, because he just kept eating the raw dough! We cooked them for the 8 mins as we like them soft rather than crispy. It would be great to see some different flavours of cookie, for example white chocolate as raspberry. I agree that they would be great for kids parties, to sandwich ice cream yum!

Thank you for including us in this trial!

Hi I made the cookies with my 6yr old (not that there is much involved in making them which is great). There was no flour flying around as is usual with my daughter. The were simple to make and my daughter loved the idea of counting how many she could get out of each pack.

The chocolaty smell coming from the oven was just delish and we couldn't wait to try the cookies as soon as they were out of the oven. They tasted as good as they smelt although I did personally prefer the double choc to the triple as not a big fan of white choc.

Would definitely buy them again and would highly recommend them to everyone.

Thanks for letting us take part in the trial.

How lovely was it that Sophie herself delivery the Kooky Dough, With the weather the way it was this weekend what a better way to spend it then cooking and baking with a my little helper Karla and her friends. The Kooky Dough was a great hit with the girls, all geared up and ready to go….the instructions where very easy to follow and I was impressed that the girls could easily follow the instructions themselves, there was great laughter and excitement, I really think that the Kooky Dough would be a huge hit at birthday parties and play dates as it really, gets all the kids involved after all there hard work and the smell of cookies the girls and I enjoyed them with milk the taste and texture where both beautiful.

Thank you so much for letting us take part in the Kooky Dough Trails

This is my review of Kooky Dough.
I had never heard of Kooky Dough before and had no idea about the product or ingredients. I love the package that it came in, I hate waste and thought the box and wrapper were perfect. The logo and design of the box made it look fun. Directions were straight forward and to be honest you can't really go wrong. It's so easy. I made the first batch myself quickly before friends came over for coffee. I rolled out the baking paper, sliced the dough and bunged them in the oven, 15 minutes later I was putting them on a plate to be served with coffee! I think the packaging is perfect although it took me a few minutes to find the nutritional information as it's quite small.
The second batch I made with my children, they had such a good time using cookie cutters and making shapes. I loved it because ususally when we bake it is very messy but Kooky Dough was so simple and not messy at all. The boys prefered the triple chocolate chip but myself and my husband couldn't decide, both were really delicious.
I bake a few times a month with my kids and would definitely use Kooky Dough again, it's perfect, natural ingredients, simple to use, no need for lots of utensils, no washing up forever after and it's so quick. I would love to see flapjacks, muffins etc.
Kooky Dough will be on my shopping list in future.

The kooky dough was a real treat, as its Easter mid term and the weather is terrible I didn't know what to do with my two kids for the day.

So then I remembered the kooky dough I received and had been keeping in the fridge.

The kooky dough didn't require any extra ingredients it literally was everything it was made out to be, the parchment paper was even included.

Which was great as there the type of things that when you go to cook you realise you forgot to buy.

It wasn't messy and I could let my 3 year old enjoy it with out worrying.

They were cooked in 15 mins and tasty really delicious.

I will defo buy them when I see them on the shelfs in the supermarket.

What a great product :)

That's for letting me try it out as I was a bit wary of cooking with my two little ones but know I can't wait to do it again :)

I couldn't wait to try out the Kooky Dough with my three kids. They are 3,8 and nearly 11. They all argued over who was to cut first as they were so eager to taste the finished product. The cutting guidelines were not great so we just took the plastic off and judged the size to cut ourselves. The greaswe proof paper was included which was brilliant. The cookies were delicious and the smell all over the house of freshly baked cookies was heavenly. Kooky Dough was a huge success in my house and I will definately be adding Kooky Dough to my shopping list infuture. Thanks so much for letting us be a part of this trial!!!!

Before taking part in the trial I had heard of the brand Kooky Dough. I hadn't tried it before as I usually bake my own cookies. It's good to know that it contains all natural and high quality ingredients which I wasn't award of before the trial. I liked the packaging and liked the Baking Parchment which was included. It was very easy to follow the instructions with no need to grease a baking tray.

I did notice on the box that it says "15 Cookies in minutes". I did try to cut the dough to make 15 Cookies but I only got 12 cookies. My husband and son thought they could do better on cutting the dough on the second roll which they managed to make 14 and a tiny 15th cookie. Maybe it's because I am use to making my own cookies which would be larger than these that I wanted to make a generous sized cookie. But I did feel that 12 cookies per Kooky dough roll was more realistic.

Everyone in the house liked to eat the cookies hot just out of the oven. Both flavours were enjoyed with the The Triple Chocolate Chip cookies winning. I would bake 2/3 times a week and it would be handy to have a roll of Kooky dough in the fridge as there is little or no time needed to bake some hot cookies. But I don't think that I would only use Kooky Dough as an alternative to baking from stratch, I would use it in conjunction with baking from stratch. Therefore I would buy it occasionally as a tasty back-up which I can bake in minutes.

Maybe more flavours would be nice too. A cinnamon and apple cookie or Cranberry or Blueberry cookie with white chocolate!

I absolutely loved this clever new product – not only did we get to indulge in lots of tasty tea time treats but we had lots of fun preparing them together on a rainy cold afternoon in March!

I hadn’t heard of Kooky dough before and I had never tried them. Until I read the packaging, I wasn’t aware that they are the only fresh baking brand that uses all natural, high quality ingredients. I have to say that does make an impact on me and would definitely make a difference as to whether I would buy them myself in the future. The inclusion of real Belgian chocolate and whole eggs was an instant attraction for me. I like the fact that they are made in Ireland as lately I am making a huge effort to convert to buying Irish wherever possible.

As I am neither a chef nor a good cook, I really need something easy to use and to follow. I have to say it was dead simple, the instructions were clear and methodical.

The kids loved the packaging – attractive and colourful and clearly illustrates what sort of product it is. It’s easy to store in the fridge as it doesn’t take up much space. I like the way the parchment is provided so that you really don’t need anything else except your enthusiasm and an oven to cook them (although my kids wanted to eat the raw dough - I doubt that’s recommended!). We preferred to make big giant ones but you could easily make 15 or more smaller ones from the dough provided. It is handy that the dough will last up to 6 weeks in the fridge and you don’t have to use it all at once so if you feel like a midnight snack, you can just cut some off and put back in the fridge – I confess to doing that myself one night. Also, it freezes well so in the (unlikely) event you don’t use it all within 6 weeks, you can pop it in the freezer and you don’t even need to defrost it – convenient or what??!!

I made this product with a small group of kids and that is what I liked best – having company and having fun. It brought me back to the days when my granny would bake with us in her country kitchen. The fact that you can entertain the kids with for the afternoon and have something to show afterwards is what appeals to me about Kooky dough. I’m a bit of a clean freak and I hate a messy kitchen so i loved the fact that the everywhere was clean and tidy afterwards, no broken egg shells on the flour or flour spattered all over the walls. That was a first! We all loved the taste of homemade cookies wafting around the kitchen, even the dog wanted to know what was cooking and we had to give him a taste of course. We all had a great time and the kids have already been asking when they can bake more.

We all loved both of the Chunky and the Triple Chocolate Chip flavours. Given that everyone in our house are chocaholics, we really went mad for the Triple chocolate Chip – the more opportunity to eat and taste chocolate the better as far as we are concerned. We liked the variety of chocolate chips (milk, dark and white) – just added that extra bit of oomph!

I rarely bake anything - I find I just haven’t the time nor the patience. It’s so much easier to just take the easy option of ready made. However, a product like this is something I would buy again. The texture of the cookies was just right, not too chewy or not rock hard. I would think you would have to be careful to keep an eye on the time as it could be easy to let them burn which would be a shame. You don’t have the usual hassle of baking from scratch, it’s just easy, fun and we all felt proud that we actually had something to show at the end of our efforts. I would definitely use it as an alternative to baking in the traditional way.

I think there are lots of other flavours that could be considered. For example, some of the biscuit flavours we like at home are:

- white chocolate chip only

- ginger

- nutty flavours

- raisin/sultanas

- oats

- fruity (strawberry, lemon, blueberry, lemon)

My impressions of this product are that it is clever and innovative and appealing. It’s a new and novel approach to baking tasty cookies and my and my gut feeling is that it will do very well once word gets around. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it and indeed I have already done so. So 10 out of 10 from our happy household and we’ll be back for more!

first off thanks for including me in this group.
I have to say this product is great! can't fault it in any way! I usually make cookies from scratched and it takes a while to get it all sorted and made. This product stops all the mess of making your own.
I made them one of the days when i was dying for a treat with a cup of tea, i chopped them up into bigger cookies. The tube is marked to make 15 cookies but i cut them at every second line. I love big cookies! And especially when they have chocolate in them. YUMMY!
From cutting them all up to when they were cooked was only about 10-15 minutes. i have to admit i actually ate one straight from the oven :-) i couldn't wait cos they smelled soooooo delish!!!! But to be honest hot or cold they are gorgeous with a cup of tea. I would have never thought to buy something like this but am definately keeping an eye out for these in the shops! Why make all the mess and cleaning if you can buy these and have them ready in no time to go with a cup of tea! Brill idea! and hope they bring out more pieces to their range!
Love the packaging too, it's the type to stand out, its brill that it includes the paper to lay the cookies on while baking, to be honest i sometimes would make cookies to then realise i'd none of the paper to put them on. Very well thought out idea and packaging!
To be honest i wouldn't be able to choose between the 2, as i said i love chocolate, and both were gorgeous. But if i had to choose, i'd pick the triple chocolate one :-p I'm a bit addicted now!
This product is definately on my weekly shopping list from now on! Genius and time saving idea! Plus it keeps the kids quiet for a few minutes! : )

Thanks for including me in your trial
I had not heard of this brand before so was really looking forward to trying them out, one of my sons helped me to bake them last night
To be honest there is no way in this world we could get 15 cookies from the dough, we got 12 at a push, the cutting guidelines are not that easy to manage so after a bit of a disaster with the first packet we just opened the second packet and cut them ourselves, its really really handy to have the baking paper included
I found that they took a little longer than the guideline to bake but that could just be my oven
The tripe chocolate ones were way nicer in our opinion :) but they were all eaten
All in all a very handy item to have in your fridge to pass a while on a miserable day or just to have for a treat, I do bake my own cookies a lot but these are just so handy and theres no mess or washing up which is always a bonus :)
Thanks again x

So, we received two lovely sausage shaped packets of dough from the lovely Kooky Dough company, one pack of triple chocolate chip cookies and the other chunky chocolate chip cookies. Needless to say, the kids were delighted.

The dough comes with pre-cut baking sheet, which is great. They do offer guidelines on the plastic to say roughly how thick to cut the cookies but I myself found it a bit fiddly, not to mention my kids. The kids helped with arranging the cookies on the baking sheet.

The cookies only take 10 minutes to cook which is also very good with hungry mouths to feed. With 5 in our family, one lot of dough would only last a few minutes but its a lovely, very quick treat to give them once in a while. To be honest, I couldn’t tell a difference between the two types of cookies and they do end up quite flat but they would definitely cure any sugar cravings you may have.

More availability of flavours would be a great idea.

Mummypages, Thanks for the lovely Kooky Dough :-)

I love baking with the kids. It creates such a mess but as my always said "a dirty child is a happy child". It was so nice for a change to do the baking, enjoy the fruits of the baking and no mess.

Kookie Dough was so easy to use. But my 2 year old did insisted on taking the mixture completely out of the packet and making the cookies by hand! It was very squishy! Because the ingredients are natural and high quality I didn't mind him licking his fingers and eating alot of the mixture raw. Once we baked what was left over the cookies lasted all of about 2 mins.

I had to save the 2nd packet for the next day! It was our favourite, the Triple Chocolate Chip. We even snuck in a couple of mini mallows into a few of them just to do something a little different. They were delicious.

I'd love a quick easy scone mix if they would consider it. So many different varieties but love big chunky ones. I'd definitely recommend Kooky Dough to any of my friends as they're just so simple and easy to use and ready in minutes.

Thanks so much for the chance to try them out, can't wait to get them and make them again.
