Hi. Received my sample of La Roche Posay LBAP and have started using it on myself and my 2 1/2 year old son. He suffers from eczema and the cold weather isn't helping him at all. At the moment he has very dry skin on his face and this cream feels safe to use on his face. When I applied it he didn't react badly so thats a big bonus. It goes on well and feels good to him so fingers crossed this works out well as i hate using steroid creams on him too much

I have been using the la Roche-posay lipikar on myself and and my two girls. Both of my girls have dry skin on their legs and its worked a dream. It goes on so easily and has a nice texture to it so it doesn't irratate either of them and isn't itchy. I've used it on my tummy as I'm 21.weeks pregnant and have found it very soothing I also have dry skin on my face and it's working really well. I've used la Roche products before so I'm aware of the brand but this product has impressed me a lot. It's gentle on the skin and most importantly it's not greasy or sticky which is so important for the kids.
We will continue to use this daily as it's fab and I've finally found a product that doesn't irrate the girls.
Thank you for letting me take part :0).

i really love this product. my son suffers with very dry skin on his arms and legs. I found it really good for his skin, non greasy, unscented and quickly absorbed into the skin. i used it myself on my face and found it left my skin feeling fresh and soft.
only after a few days of using it i could see and feel the difference in both my sons and my skin.
when this tube runs out i will be popping to the chemist for more.
i was really delighted with this product and highly recommend it to my family and friends

We have been using La Roche-Posay Lipikar Baume AP+ for the last three weeks, & I find it a fantastic product, my 10 mths old had started to crawl & his knees were getting scaley, this cream cleared it within two days! , also great for dribbling rash, as it's La Roche-Posay, I always find that they are a safe product with no nasties, all my children have a patche's of dry skin, & I've noticed the skin is smooth instead of scaly, so it's on the road to recovery without steroid creams!

So I decided to give this a few weeks before leaving feed back and I have to say I'm very impressed, this is a one did all moisturiser, no more seperate moisturisers. 2 of my children have excema and both have said how this cream is so much nicer than others we use like cortopin or e45 excema cream. It's so thick and creamy it really moisturises the skin, I love using it at night . It's odourless and doesn't cause any irratations at all. Even my husband has said it's fantastic as a post shave moisturiser . Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good moisturiser for all over. Especially to anyone with skin problems like excema or sentistive dry skin. This is one I'll definatly be keeping on our shelves. Thankfully also since we have started using this my eldest hasn't had any big flare ups . Normally she gets it very bad at back of her legs skin cracks and bleeds and does be raw so it definatly seems to be keeping flare ups at bay.

I started using the cream straight after getting it. I have to say that I really love it. I use it on my 3.5 year old son who just recently developed some extreme dry skin on his hands. He loved when I used it on him and it really helped his skin. I also used it on my 2 year old as nappy cream when he had a rash, it also helped very quickly and he wasn't irritated when i applied the cream which means it wasn't sore for him. I also keep using on my hands that are also very dry and sore because of it. I love the feeling of this cream. I tried several ones before but I have to say I will definatelly use this cream in the future. It also dries very quickly. Great product. Thanks a lot for allowing me to be part of this trial.

As a person who frequently suffers from extremely dry skin and irritation, I was delighted to be selected for this trial. A product which would help reduce the frequency of flare ups and help smooth my dry skin was very appealing to me.

Before the trial, I was well aware of the La Roche-Posay brand and I have used many of their products and over the years. I frequently buy the Rosaliac CC cream, the Physiological cleansing milk and soothing toner, the Lipikar hand repair cream and the
Ceralip lip repair cream. They have always given me a very high standard
and suit my sensitive skin and meet both my needs and the needs of my family.
It is the reliability of a well known, respected and universal brand that
appeals to me with La Roche-Posay. As babies’ skin is far more delicate
than adults, it really needs extra special care so I like to buy a brand
I can trust. I know what I will get when I purchase La Roche-Posay and
I am never disappointed.

I am aware that La Roche-Posay has been an expert brand for sensitive skin for over 25 years. I originally heard about these products from my pharmacist so I am aware that they are recommended by dermatologists in Ireland and worldwide. In fact, when I
initially suffered from skin problems, my pharmacist gave me detailed information
about the huge range of La Roche-Posay dermo-cosmetic products which are available for all skin types and conditions – oily, severely dry, intolerant and even ageing skin (something else I am becoming concerned about!).

One of the aspects I liked most about this product was the ease of application. It was simple to apply, smoothly glides over the skin and is easily and quickly absorbed. It wasn’t sticky or oily like many of the other skin products I have tried and the skin was immediately calmed and relaxed. When I used it on myself, I was impressed that I instantly felt more comfortable and my skin was softer, more gentle and supple.

I was delighted to learn that it is paraben-free, fragrance-free, lanolin-free and white-mark free as I have very sensitive skin and always search for the most pure, soft and chemical free solutions. I liked the detailed information leaflet that came with the product giving application tips and many useful ideas on the best ways of dealing with dry skin. I have even have started to use these recommendations for myself and my family. I learned that I should avoid wool and synthetics and stick to cotton clothing!

My father suffers from intense dry skin patches on his feet and hands as well as cracked skin so he was delighted to try it out for me also. He was thoroughly impressed with the
results and felt immediate relief after only a few hours. He has every intention of buying it again. With such a wide variety of uses, this is a product well worth investigating.

If I had one complaint to make about the product, it would be the tube itself. I accidentally let it slip on the kitchen floor and it immediately burst and spilt so I had to transfer the cream to my own container. I would prefer if it was a solid plastic cylinder with a pump action nozzle – I think that would make the application easier and it could also stand upright on our bathroom shelf.

One point that struck me about the product was the rather dull and uninspiring presentation and packaging. The tube is just blue and white and not particularly attractive. Personally I like colour and images and I think that it would catch my eye if the presentation of the product and packaging were enhanced. I realise that all La Roche-Posay products have similar design that has been used for years but I would love to see a rebranding or even a few small changes to design so that they would stand out and perhaps appeal to a wider audience. I think an overview of the marketing around the product range would be a great idea.

I am aware that the products can only be purchased at the pharmacy as I have tried numerous shops without success. For me, price is a factor I consider extremely important. In my opinion, La Roche-Posay products sit at the luxury end of the market. While I would be prepared to pay a slight premium for the extra benefits and the reliability of an established, reputable brand, I always carefully consider whether the product is actually affordable for me. I don’t think I would be purchasing this product on a very regular basis and I wouldn’t be applying it liberally, I intend to use it sparingly and only buy it when absolutely necessary – can’t afford to be splashing out too much,
especially at this time of the year. I would like to see a special offer if you bought a number of products together or a reduction for buying more than one item. With the expense of raising children, every factor needs to be considered.

Yes I will buy La Roche-Posay Lipikar Baume again, particularly as it can be used for the children, my parents and of course myself! I was impressed to read the research that La Roche-Posay put into the development of their product range with in depth clinical
studies worldwide and the development of products in compliance with strict criteria. This gives me confidence that this is a trusted brand with a good track record. I have no doubt that this product will appeal to mothers as it can be used for such a wide range of skin problems. The results I experienced were a genuine improvement in skin suppleness, comfort and smoothness. After using it on the children, they responded very well. They were more refreshed and relaxed and redness/itchiness and irritation had
eased after even a few hours.
Many of my friends and my sisters have young babies and they frequently complain about nappy rash, itchiness and even eczema. I will definitely recommend they investigate La Roche-Posay Lipikar Baume. Admittedly, it may not work for all babies but I was very pleased with the noticeable skin improvements we experienced and will continue to purchase the product over the next few years.

Hi, I received a sample of La Roche-Posay Lipikar Baume A+ for review. I have to say that this is an excellent product that I would highly recommend. I also bought the La Roche-Posay Lipikar syndet anti irritation cleansing gel/cream and I use this on my we ones religiosly now. I found that my daughter was very prone to dry skin patches on her legs and arms and her face would always break out with the dryness. I have been using this product for 14 days now and I can clearly state that her skin is the healthiest it has ever been and I have used a large variation of products, ranging from steroid creams to over the counter creams in the phamacy. Her skin feels soft to the touch, all the dry skin patches have disappeared and her face has also cleared, I also use it on my younger twins who would have moderate skin and there skin tone and texture has also improved. It is not oily or greasy after applying and the consistency of the cream itself is brilliant and very easily applied with no mess afterwards.

We will definately continue to use this daily along with the cleanser, Thank you for letting us take part.

I've been using La Roche-Posay Lipikar Baume AP+ on my 8 month old for the past 2-3 weeks and am really impressed with it! He has very dry skin on his arms and legs and so we started to bath him less often and use baby moisturiser or Silcox base on the dry patches, which helped but the dry skin was still there, just not as bad. Since I've started using the Lipikar Baume I've noticed that the dry skin has almost completely cleared up. We only use it after his bath, which is every 2 day and even this is enough to have a dramatic effect. It goes on easily with no greasy residue and he doesn't mind me using it on him. It's also fragrance-free so there's no overwhelming scent to deal with and because of this I don't mind putting it on his cheeks when they get dry from teething. Would definitely recommend this and am going to start using it on my hands to see if it helps with my dry skin there!

Hi. Received my La Roche Posay Lipikar Baume AP+ and have started using it on myself and my 4year old son. It makes my skin soft and supple. Also use it on my feet and I don't have cracked skin any more. It doesn't contain parabin which is a plus for me too. It's fantastic.
We will definately continue and Thank you for letting us take part.

Just saw this I had written out a long reply and only the last line appeared.
The main point being that I have found this cream to be great for my childrens dry skin. Have previously used La Roche-Posay suncream as its the only cream that the whole family can use without any reactions. The only thing I would say is that I would prefer a tub and not a tube as smallies can easily open it

Many thanks for letting my son and I be part of this trial for this amazing moisturiser. Before I review the product itself, I just have to tell you about my eight year old son who suffers very badly from dry skin on his hands, it can get so bad that it starts to crack and bleed. He also seems to have very sensitive skin (like myself) as when I put moisturiser on his hands, it itches like crazy and sometimes it gets so bad that he has to wash it off. So, I was delighted to be accepted onto this trial in the hope of finding something to help his poor hands. When the email came in on my phone, I was with him and said, ‘oh great, I got on the trial’ and he asked what it was about. He was so excited and said to me, ‘finally, something that’ll help me’, I have to say, I nearly cried, I didn’t realise his hands were bothering him so much.

We were both very excited when our little package arrived just before Christmas; it was like getting a little Christmas present to share!! I say ‘little’ but we got a fine big tube of cream, very grateful for that. Straight away, I put some on him (think discarded envelope thrown on the table!) and he rubbed it in. Couldn’t believe it, no itching, no residue, he just rubbed it in and off he went. Delighted with himself that he could still play with his lego, there was no greasy feel to the cream.

I suffer myself from dry skin so of course, I was second to have a go!! Cream felt lovely, a little bit goes a long way and it seems to absorb straight away into your skin.

That night, when my son was going to bed, I said to him, ‘I’ll put some more of the cream on your hands now’ and he said to me, ‘I don’t need it, I can still feel it’ and I felt his hands and you could definitely feel a ‘softness’ there that wasn’t there before. That was after a few hours and of course he would have washed his hands a couple of times in between (at least, I hope he had!!) – So, I left it until the morning and we put another little bit on again. Over the next few days, I repeated this and the difference was amazing. His hands are just incredible, all the redness has disappeared, the dryness around the knuckles is gone and best of all, no cracking or bleeding. Once a day was all I needed to apply it and it lasted for him. I am absolutely delighted to have finally found a solution to my little man’s hands and I won’t be without it ever again.

Of course, I should have known really that La Roche-Posay would have worked, my mother worked in a pharmacy years ago and swore by that brand, said it was the best one on the shelves, I suppose I had just forgotten about it until I saw the application for the trial.

Regarding myself, as I said above, I suffer with dry skin, particularly on my hands and around my nose on my face. Especially when I’ve a head cold and blowing my nose, it looks horrible. And of course, if you put make up on over it, it only looks worse. Well, not any more!! I’m so thrilled, I put it around my nose from the first day I got it and within a week, the flaky dry skin was gone, I honestly can’t believe it, I used to use Vaseline and sudocrem and they would cause me to break out in spots so it was either flaky skin or spots…very attractive, not!! A couple of times, I used lipikar baume as a full face moisturiser and it is really fantastic, you only need a tiny bit and it absorbs really well, make up just glides on afterwards and there’s no ‘weight’ on your face, like some ‘strong’ moisturisers seem to feel. Long term, I don’t think I’d use lipikar baume as a facial moisturiser, just because La Roche-Posay products are expensive and a little out of my budget but I would definitely keep a tube of it in the house for use on our hands and around my nose. A little goes a long long way so while it is expensive, it does work and because of the little you are using each time, it probably works out around the same as other ‘dry skin’ moisturisers.

Once again, thank you for letting us be part of this trial, I told my son this morning that I was going to do the review and he said to tell you that ‘it really really works’!! He trotted off to school happy out with no ‘scaly’ hands (apparently, some of the boys were calling him ‘scaly hands’ – thankfully, things like that don’t really bother him, it goes right over his head!!)

Thanks again and if you ever need anyone to review any other La Roche-Posay products, you can always rely on your two biggest fans to give a truthful and frank review!
