Great product, love the tube with the flip lid that is especially good for your nappy bag. I'd love a bigger tube as the way I'm using it, it probably won't last very long - I used it for every nappy change.  It's not too thick and was really easy to apply - I can't stand creams that you have to 'work' to apply. I also found it really good to protect my baby from getting nappy rash as since we've been using, she hasn't even had a red bum and she is very prone.

As an aside, I found it really good for my dry hands too, mine are always in bits from washing them all of the time and just put some on as it was handy really cured my dry hands.

I knew La Roche-Posay had a great reputation and I have used their products in the past but i had never used them on my child. I found the cream easy to apply and it was quickly absorbed. It is a convenient size and the packaging is what you would expect from an expert brand that is only available through a pharmacy .

While testing this product my son was put on a course of antibiotics for an ear infection. Antibiotics always make his eczema flare up, as well as causing diarrhoea which leads to bad nappy rash. I found the cream fantastic in easing his eczema as well as any other dry skin conditions that family members had. Unfortunately found it did very little in helping to ease his nappy rash and I quickly had to return to using our usual cream.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this product for any type of dry skin condition and I will continue to use it to treat my sons eczema. I would be slow to recommend or use it treat nappy rash. Due to the fact that my son was put on antibiotics I am unable to effectively answer whether this cream is good at preventing nappy rash as I do not believe that any cream would have prevented him from getting nappy rash on this occasion.

I'm aware of La Roche Posay as a brand and always felt it was good as it could only be bought in the chemist. My daughter is teething and I find she always gets nappy rash when she is cutting her teeth. I knew there was a tooth on the way so I pre-empted the nappy rash by applying it at every change. I found this hugely effective as it was the first tooth she has cut without getting a nappy rash. Her nappy rash usually turns into roaring red, nearly bleeding, bum.
I found the tube really handy as I could just flip the lid open and close - no turning of lids on tubes with messy (dirty) hands.
I worry about chemicals like parabens and perfumes which are unnecessary in kids products and was pleased that this was free of all of those kinds of things.
I'd actually like a smaller (sister) tube that I could put in my emergency bag in the car.
I'd definitely buy it again and would recommend it to mums especially in the role of prevention of nappy rash as that was what worked for me.

This product is excellent have been using it for three days now and I have a really bad eczema patches on my body
It blends quickly into the skin with little residue, doesnt sting when applied onto even the sorest skin and really does intensively moisturise the skin.
Love the packaging, the size of the tube is perfect as it can be brought in your handbag

I would really recommend this product and will definately be purchasing it

I had never heard of this brand before & was happy to try it out. Very glad i did as i find it to be great. I have only used on my babys bum & it does the job.

I like the flip lid on the tube which it very practical when you are using one hand to keep baby from crawling off... Also, other brands of nappy cream have a tube that cracks in places which ends up messy. Its not to thick & goes on easily.

I will be buying this in the future.

Mostly I applied Cicaplast Baume B5 cream to my daughter’s (she will be 2 in feb) skin after pool or bath. She is like a little mermaid. She loves water. We have bath every night and shower in the morning. Also we go to pool at least once a week (mostly twice a week-every Saturday and Sunday). Therefore my daughter developed few little dry skin patches on her tummy and back.

The Cicaplast Baume B5 is smooth and very easy to apply. It has no smell and skin absorbs it immediately. The skin after applying cream was left soft and silky.

Re the size of the packaging: I think that it is great size to put it to wash bag to bring to pool or on the plane. However, I would like to have the cream in the bigger size as well to keep it at home in the bathroom.

I can confirm that La Roche-Posay just got a new customer. I will use the Cicaplast Baume B5 in future.

Hi

Would like to thank LA ROCHE-POSAY for the sample tube that was my secret weapon over the past week,i have used this on my five year old who suffers from dry skin on his face and has some flare-ups of eczema on the backs of his legs, with his face i have tried alot of creams and nothing to date has kept it moistureised as long as the cicaplast baume has,i have a 20 month old who is teething and has very bad nappy rash's ,over the past few days i have used this as a nappy cream and have found her bum to be alot calmer,i have also used it myself as a moisturiser under make up .I had a small surgery last week which i had to have a general anesthetic,i found my face very dry after this and tried my usual moisturiser which would normaly be great with dry /sensitive skin would not help with this at all!! so i tried the cicaplast baume and found it fantastic!! so good that i used it as a mosturiser under my makeup since then and have had people compliment how refreshed my skin looks..in the past i have used some LA ROCHE-POSAY products and have been very impressed with them,my main cream would be the HYDREANE riche, havent been able to find a tube bigger than the 40ml tube which doesnt last very long, would love to be able to purchace larger tubes.Have also used lipikar xerand hand cream and find it fantastic as my hands get very dry and sore from washing bottles etc..in my opinion the cicaplast baume is a fantastic cream that has helped moisturise and soothe all areas.

I will be recommending this to my family and friends!Smiling

I cannot sing the praises of Cicaplast Baume B5 enough. I knew La Roche-Posay already, having used the moisturiser myself for ages. The tube itself is a handy size for the baby bag. My little boy is 9 months and just recently got a touch of nappy rash, as soon as the Cicaplast Baume landed in the door I started using it at every nappy change and it made a huge difference. I also put some on the babys face if we were going out for a walk. I used it on my hands too and they have never felt as soft. That the cream is fragrance, paraben free is a huge bonus too. All in all no mummy should be without her Cicaplast Baume B5, from sore bums, rough patches, dry faces, sore cuticles, it does the trick. Am going to purchase one when the one I trialed is empty. An excellent cream with great moisturisation properties.

I loved this product, my 7 year old has eszema on his torso and this really helped, no more scratching. I also used it on my face as I get spots and have dry skin, this really helped as I noticed the flair ups were not as bad this week and my skin felt softer.

I liked that it had no fragrance and is paraben free. also liked that it was not too thick or runny. The tube is very handy to use and a nice size. Didn't get to try it on a baby's bottom as all my babys are out of nappies but did find it good if they got a sore bottom.

Overall a great product and will be recommending it to some of my mum-to-be friendsBig smile

I used it on my 4 year old daughter she has dry skin and it has mad a difference her skin is so soft and is no longer dry and red. She loved me putting it on her. I used it on my skin which is dry and sensitive and it has helped calm it down and reduce redness.

Thanks for the sample I would recommend this product and will be buying it when my sample runs outTickled pink

I knew the brand and had used Lipikar for a long time on my eldest daughter a few years ago and Syndet also.

I have been trying the Baume on my 15 month old, she has eczema. She doesnt get nappy rash as I use cloth nappies. It was moisturising enough for her and her skin got drier and flakier. The red areas which she has had for months have started to heal, which Im delighted about, so I am using it now with her usual epaderm to moisturise. I like that it is paraben, fragrance and lanolin free and it is easy to put on and packaging is good.

Thanks for letting me try it.

I had heard of la Roche posay but never used it and didn't know it was recommended by dermatologists as my 5 yr old son attends one and they've never mentioned their products. When trying the sample I found it went on lovely, absorbed instantly. The palms of my hands were so soft after rubbing it on my son. Before receiving the sample my little boy had flared up and had damaged the skin from scratching which the cream really helped mend but still had to use his emulsifying ointment as a moisturiser as the la Roche posay wasn't enough by itself, the size of the tube is great to stick in the baby bag but would need a bigger tub for the house I wouldn't get long out of 100ml tube. Thanks for letting me try it

I had heard of la Roche posay as i bought the Sunblock products for my mum last year! She found them brill and the only products she trusted for her sensitive skin on her face!

The palms of my hands were so soft after rubbing it on my daughter. I found it absorbed instantly and not a bit greasy. My mum also found it brilliant and has used it every day!

I work in a cafe and everyone there has tried it (Staff & Customers) with all positive feedback! Having our Hands in water and in gloves all day would dry out the skin so Cicaplast Baume B5 came in very handy!!!
The tube is perfect size. Thanks LA ROCHE-POSAY for letting me try it, Would love to trial other products in future!
Have & will keep recommendintg it! PS my mum is refusing to give it back to me!

I honestly had never heard of this brand before and didn't know about it being used for sensitive skin. That being said I used it on my 3 year old triplets. I was very pleased with the results. My daughter has always had dry patches here and there and she itches them and usually breaks skin. I've tried a number of products and nothing has helped like this. With this product I put it on at night after her bath, before bed and by morning she didn't seem as itchy and the red patches weren't as visible. It absorbed so quickly and wasn't greasy like most products. Now with my boys, they has colds so were very red under their noses and around their mouths. I put this on them before bed and by morning they weren't as red and the skin didn't seem to be irritated. After a couple of days their lil' faces were all cleared up. I even used it on my dry hands and they are lovely and soft now, Thank you.
I loved the size of the tube and how easy it was to use quickly on a screaming child, without having to fiddle around. I was not aware of this product or brand before, let alone that it could be purchased at a pharmacy, but I will be looking at more of their products in the future. I didn't use for nappy rash, as it wasn't needed for that.
Thank you for giving me the oppurtunity to try this product. I was very pleased with the results:)

Thank you so much for selecting me to try out this product. While I have heard of La Roche-Posay brand before I have never heard of this product. I have used their shower gel and it is just amazing. I wasn't aware that it is mainly geared towards those with sensitive skin..
I thought it was absolutely fantastic for my daughter. She has recently had scarlet fever and her hands & feet are still peeling from it. And her skin everywhere is very very dry and irritated looking. Since I started using this cream on her I find her scratching a lot less and her skin does not seem as dry or irritated anymore. It also seems to have stopped the peeling effect on her feet.
When I was putting it on her feet before bed, I put a pair of trainer socks on and i think this helped in keeping the moisture locked in. I found the cream real easy to apply and couldn't help using it on my hands everyday myself. It is very easy to apply & soaks in very quickly.
The fact that it is fragrance free is a huge bonus for me because I can't use anything perfumed on my daughters skin since she became ill as it just flares up again.
I also used it on my T-zone area, I am very very prone to inflamed flaky skin in this area & I couldn't believe the difference it made. Even my family asked what I was using on my skin as it was much clearer.
The sizing of the tube was just perfect as it is a big enough amount yet small enough to throw in handbag.
All in all I would definitely recommend this product & will be buying it again. I wasn't aware that these products could only be bought in a pharmacy.
I didn't use this for nappy rash, but i did use it for red, angry, itchy, peeling and inflamed skin and it worked for all of it. As they say it ticked all the right boxes.
Again thank you for letting me trial this product & I would be delighted to trial any other products in the future.
Thanks a million
