Thanks to La Roche-Posay and MummyPages for allowing me to take part in this trial…I’m thrilled with the product! I used La Roche-Posay for myself before (can’t remember which one again…I used it on my arms and legs as my skin can sometimes be quite dry after showering and it really helped!) so I was aware of the brand. I found the Cicaplast Baume B5 brilliant. It was really easy to use and my hands weren’t greasy aaafter. I’m delighted that it is ParabenFree, Fragrance Free, Lanolin Free AND white mark free! I used it on my daughter Laura. She has patches of eczema on behind her elbows and knees and is always scratching. The redness went down after a couple of applications and is pretty much cleared up now. I used it twice a day and she didn’t mind me putting it on her at all. I also used it on my son James as he sometimes suffers from nappy rash. Just like Lauras eczema, the nappy rash totally cleared up in a couple of days. The 100ml tube is a nice size for my hand bag but I’d love a bigger tube as I ran out of the 100ml one fairly quickly. Will definitely be purchasing this product again and have already recommended it to my friends.
I knew that La Roche-Posay has a good reputation but I never got around to giving it a go so was thrilled to take part in this trial. The cream was very easy to apply and absorbed really quickly. The size is very convenient…big enough if using on a regular basis but small enough to pop into the changing bag. I really like the packaging and think it reflects that this is an expert brand.
When I was testing the product, my daughter had flare up of nappy rash (I think this is because she is teething at the moment) and I found the cream excellent at easing the rash. After the first application I saw a noticeable improvement.
I sometimes suffer from dry patches myself and tried the cream on this and saw a bit of an improvement. I’m hoping if I continue to use it these dry patches will clear up all together.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this product to other mums for nappy rash and once my tube runs out I’ll be popping straight to my local pharmacy to buy some more!
Thanks for letting me take part in the trial MummyPages!
