Jack Walsh from Askeaton has lost his fight for life after a fall in Santa Ponsa.
According to Newstalk, the teenager was taken to the hospital, after he fell around 12 meters from a balcony.
Sadly, Jack passed away last night.
The incident reportedly happened in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
It is understood that Jack sustained serious head injuries in the fall.
It is believed that the nineteen-year-old had embarked for Mallorca after retaking a Leaving Cert exam.
Sources say Jack was only in the Santa Ponsa's resort for a few hours when the fatal accident happened.
A number of the Walsh family have flown over to the island to be with Jack, according to reports.
