A heartbroken Dublin mum has issued a desperate appeal for help and information this week, after her son’s dog was taken.

Sheena Matthews revealed on Facebook that young Sean, who is 10 years old and has autism, ‘hasn’t stopped crying’ since his Chihuahua, Mojo, went missing four days ago.

Mojo vanished from the Rossfield area of Tallaght, on Friday. He has since been spotted on the LUAS with two boys (thought to be around 12), who got off at the Kylemore stop.

Significantly, Sheena revealed that more potential sightings have been made along the Kylemore Road.

Mojo is microchipped, and Sheena has put up a ‘large cash reward’ for the safe return of the beloved dog, insisting: “We won’t give up on our little baby.”

“Sean hasn’t stopped crying for his best friend since he went missing…Please, if you think you spot our dog, can you try your best to take a quick snap with your phone, and mail it to us?” she pleaded.

If you have any information that could reunite Mojo with his devastated family, you are asked to contact Sheena, on 0851585112. Alternatively, you can get in touch with Tallaght Garda Station.
