If you haven’t already heard, tonight’s Lotto jackpot is set to reach the astronomical heights of €14 million – the highest it has been in nearly five years.

With this in mind, the National Lottery decided to amp up the excitement by teasing what dreams will be now be possible for the potential winner.

Indeed, if you manage to match up the first six numbers drawn, you will win or share in the eighth biggest jackpot in the history of the game.

So, what exactly could you do with €14 million? Here’s a taster, courtesy of the team at the National Lottery:

  1. Go sky-surfing – Estimated to cost in excess of €6,000, this extreme sport requires you to jump out of an airplane with a sky-board attached to your feet. Sound tempting? If not, you could try…
  2. High-altitude mountain-climbing – A package will set you back a cool €100,000 and will bring you to on a tour of some of the world’s highest peaks. Alternatively, you could…
  3. Travel to outer space on Virgin Galactic – If you’ve always wanted to tour the galaxy, it is now possible – if you’ve got €200,000 to play around with!

Alternatively, you could follow in Lotto presenter Kamal Ibrahim’s footsteps and take a 13,000ft skydive – something that, incidentally, he completed this week to mark tonight’s jackpot.

With the help and advice of the Irish Parachute Club, Ibrahim took to the skies for a breath-taking dive over Clonbullogue Airfield in Co. Offaly – and we have footage of the entire thing below.

With the National Lottery expecting 100,000 tickets to be sold in the hour leading up to tonight’s jackpot, you better purchase yours quick. 7.45pm is the deadline – don’t say we didn’t warn you!

All that’s left to say is good luck!
