The all-star cast returns starring Ben Stiller (Alex), Chris Rock (Marty), David Schwimmer (Melman), Jada Pinkett Smith (Gloria), Sacha Baron Cohen (King Julien), Cedric The Entertainer (Maurice) and Andy Richter (Mort). Although Marty found his herd in Africa, Marty isn’t willing to leave his best friend Alex’s side. The opportunity to join the circus gives Marty the shot of adrenaline he needs…he just didn’t realize he is the one being shot…out of a cannon. And Melman our favourite hypochondriac giraffe who finally found love with a hippo, his dreams are realised as he and Gloria (the sweet and sassy hippon-next-door) figure out how to balance it all…on the circus high wire!
With the gang taking a detour to Europe, it’s King Julien’s opportunity to conquer new lands, but the ever confident, always pompous, self-proclaimed King finally meets his match when he falls head over heels for the biggest bear under the big top. He will follow her three-wheeling tricycle adventure wherever she goes. And Maurice, King Julien’s second-in-command is always there to carry out the King’s latest wacky request or get him out of any jam – even when the European authorities are hot on their tails.
There are new characters to introducte too, including Capitaine Chantel DuBois - the villainous animal control agent, who will stop at nothing to add a few new hunting trophies to her collection. Relentless in her quest to capture the Zoosters, she is hot on their trails as she chases them throughout Europe in this exciting new adventure.
Then there is the beautiful Jaguar Gia who is always on the lookout to discover something new, and she gets her chance when she convinces a reluctant Alex to teach her the trapeze – “Circus Americano” style. And Stefano the Sea Lion is a happy, fun-loving Italian sea lion who always looks on the brighter side of things. A true entertainer at heart, he’s up for any challenge to save the circus, even convincing Alex that the show must go on.
