Mother’s Day with Netflix

We know that there are only a few days throughout the year that as a mum you get to sit down and spend some quailty time with your teenager. As your little ones get older, family traditions around Mother’s Day change with your now grown-up little ones leading hectic lives. This Mother’s Day we want you to spend some quality time with your teen watching your favourite show on Netflix.

We want to know what shows you love to watch with your teen? Do you and your daughter love curling up on the couch to binge on Pretty Little Liars? Perhaps, do you and your teenage son both enjoy watching Marvels Daredevil? Or is Arrested Development the perfect show for you and your teenager to relax to in the evening?

Tell us what Netflix show you love to watch with your teen and be in with a chance to win a weekend away for you and your teen.

We're currently re-watching Sherlock, it's a brilliant show. And Miranda - never fails to make us laugh.

I have one teenage daughter, and although I slightly dreaded these years - I have to say that I am so lucky as she is quickly turning into my best friend! We love shopping together, baking and also watching our favourite shows together. Although we have slightly different tastes, I like The Good Wife and she loves Pretty Little Liars, we have come to the perfect agreement. When we sit down to watch Netflix together, we take it in turns to watch our shows - Good Wife one night and PLL the next. (I have to admit, I have some-what became slightly addicted to Pretty Little Liars myself.) Wink

I am so looking forward to Mother’s Day! I have the day off work and I cannot wait to sit down, put the feet up and watch Netflix with my husband and our teens. We all love the Big Bang Theory!

To be honest before Netflix I never used to watch very much TV with my daughter. I didn’t think I would be interested in the programmes that she liked. But now with Netflix, it’s so easy to switch between the different TV series and it turns out we actually enjoy some of the same series. Our favourite ones to watch together are Downtown Abbey and How I Met Your Mother.

I have to admit I don't watch TV that much, by my DH and DS enjoy watching (and making fun of) scary movies ... the sillier the better. I always know when they're watching them, you can hear them laughing at the ridiculousness of them.

I have always been a big fan of Homeland and House of Cards but my 17 year old has just introduced me to Orange is The New Black- It’s brilliant, I love watching it with her. Although I’m not sure that she will get me watching 90210 with her just yet ;)

If I ever get the chance to watch Netflix, it's when the kids are gone out. Quiet time just for me. I know this is meant to be about sharing time with my teen, but to be honest we do lots of that, Netflix is my quiet me time ha ha ha

My son has started to re-watch Prison Break and asked me did I want to watch it with him. I wasn’t sure if I would like it to be honest, but I have to admit…I am completely hooked! We watch a new episode every day when he comes home from school. It’s so hard not to continue watching it during the day. I can’t wait for the weekend so we can binge watch a bit more.

My teen and I watch documenataries, a shared love, it's probably the only time we watch TV to be honest.

I have to say we don't do a lot of TV watching together, except at the weekend, and we take it in turns to do a Friday night movie. We switch on Netflix and every week, one person gets to choose the movie. Treats a movie - everyone's happy.
