Giving birth to her first child at just nineteen, Leah is all too aware of the stigma surrounding young mums - but with her blog, Leah and Two, she wants to break this stigma around young parents.
Going on to have her second at the age of 21, Leah hopes that by sharing her experiences through her blog she will become the go-to person for young mums.
With two kids to look after, Leah is clearly a very busy woman so we were delighted when she took time out of her day to let us in on her parenting secrets.
What is the most important thing you have learned since becoming a mum?
I've learned that it’s okay to let the house get a bit messy - as long as the children are happy, let it slide!
What's the most ridiculous/hilarious/unbelievable thing your child has done?
Poo all over the cot and wall! Hand in nappy - not fun.
What's the weirdest thing you've said/done as a parent?
Well, speaking about boobs and all sorts is not a private thing anymore.
Name one thing you do that helps keep you sane?
As soon as boys are in bed it’s feet up for me. I love to blog in my spare time as it helps me to vent the day’s stress away.
What is the best piece of advice you would give to other mums?
Sleep when the baby sleeps – that’s how I got through the early days with Tyler. I know it can be difficult when you have two, so don't feel bad when the grandparents are around to let them have the kids - even if it is just for a hair wash.
If you had to choose just one thing that you absolutely love about being a mum, what would it be?
Creating such little beauties and watching them grow; knowing that I taught them what they know and growing to be who they are.
