Rio Ferdinand has been enjoying some fun in the sun with his three children and Kate Wright this week. The footballer escaped the grey, dreary weather and jetted off to the Maldives with his clan for a well-needed January break.
The proud dad has been sharing glimpses of their family trip with his followers on Instagram and his latest snap has melted fans’ hearts.
Taking to the social media platform, Rio posted a photo of him, his fiancée Kate Wright and his daughter Tia.
The trio cuddled up together on the beach for the touching photo.
Rio captioned the image: “Paradise with my girls.”
It really looks like the dream place to kick off another year.
They even got into the festive spirit for the photo, wearing matching Santa hats. Christmas may be over for most of us, but it looks like Rio and his family are holding onto that holiday spirit.
Rio’s two other children- 12-year-old Lorenz and 10-year-old Tate- are also enjoying the trip with their dad and soon-to-be step-mum Kate, but weren’t pictured in this shot.
The family have been enjoying a whirlwind few months together following Kate and Rio’s engagement.
